Shahmeer's POV
"Ting ting ting"
I opened my eyes slowly to see Mubashir drawing back my curtains. I was comfortable with him. He was hard-working, minded his own business, didn't talk much and had been here since I bought the house.
"Good morning Sir."
"Good morning Mubashir."
"Sir, your breakfast is being prepared it will be ready as soon as you come downstairs."
"Great, see you."
He left the room and I started to get ready.
I undressed from my pj's and slipped into the shower as the cold water engulfed me. I picked up my shampoo and massaged it through my hair. I had never experienced the feeling of 'rush.' Why be late when you can be early?
I had a meeting today with one of my investors' workers. My biggest investor was in hospital as he's been diagnosed with last stage lung cancer. I have another meeting in the evening with another one of my huge investors who's passing his company to his son. A reckless son. They won't be investing in my company as I don't want to suffer anymore losses. Already because of that, there has been a slight decrease in profit. Unacceptable.
I rinsed out my hair and applied my eucalyptus body wash on my loofah and scrubbed everywhere. After rinsing everything off I jumped out of the shower with a towel hanging loosely around my waist and started shaving. I was picking up my sole toothbrush from the pot and realised what Kiran was saying about it. She was saying how she wishes for the day to come when there would be two toothbrushes in this pot. Funny enough, that's never. I don't say anything to her as she's also been working here for a long time but I do listen to what she has to say. It's simple respect. Thinking of what she said, I laughed and started brushing my teeth.

I was stuck choosing between my black tuxedo or replace the black shirt with a white shirt. I would ask Kiran but I know she's going to tell me, "Meeroo Ji, if you had a wife you could ask her or she would choose your clothes the night before."
First of all, I can choose my own clothes (well not really but you get the main point).
Second, I do not need a wife just so she can choose my clothes. That's what I call being lazy.
Third, I. Don't. Believe. In. Love.Simple.
I went with the black tuxedo anyways, and put on my perfume dried and brushed my hair. I got my phone and walked down the stairs.

The smell of Kiran's freshly made parathas wafted in my nose as well as the cheese omelette. I sat down and pulled out my phone to check any messages.

I had my breakfast and grabbed my protein bar from the pantry and headed to the car.
Today was going to be a long day.
