Shahmeer's POV:
Some woman in this room had no shame. Well, I wouldn't classify them as a woman then. I couldn't deny the fact that I was tense. All I could think about was Farjaad. Why would I trust anyone? I kept thinking whether I had told him and according to my memory, which is impeccable, I didn't. No one knew except the people there. He would only know if he was behind it.
The wedding was finally over. No more events. No more faking for a while. The hall was being cleaned and nearly everyone was gone. Much quieter. I looked back to the stage and saw Mahnoor looking around, fidgeting with her hands. I walked to the stage.
"You're going to ruin your beautiful hands if you keep doing that, love."
"Where's Farjaad?" The question I was dreading today.
"He went home. He had something to deal with."
"Oh-"
"WHERE THE HELL IS MY HUSBAND?!" It was Farjaad's wife, Ayesha. I turned back to see her. Tears streamed down her face.
"He's fine."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S FINE? YOUR GUARDS WERE DRAGGING HIM UPON YOUR ORDERS."
Mahnoor stood up.
"What is she saying, Shahmeer?"
"Did you even ask him what he did?" She probably knows.
"WHAT DID HE EVER DO TO YOU? He's your friend. Colleague. Whatever you call it."
"He tried to harm my wife."
"He didn't. I can't believe you don't even trust him. I knew you didn't deserve him." As she said that, she left. I sat on the stage next to Mahnoor on the couch and held my head in my hands.
"Shahmeer, what was she saying? What did you do to Farjaad? Where is he?" I was already shook enough, I didn't want to talk to anyone. So I got up and left.

I went out into the lawn and placed a cigarette between my teeth and lit it. I heard little footsteps and panting behind. I turned to see the small 5,5ft beauty I had wed.
"You can't just leave my questions unanswered. They weren't rhetorical."
"I thought they were."
"Well answer them now. What did you do to him? Where is he?"
"He alive and fine."
"Fine is never fine. Where is he?"
"Downstairs." She turned to walk inside and downstairs but I pulled her back, her body slamming into my chest. Even with all the worries in my mind, it felt as though everything stopped. I felt my erection bulge and hoped she didn't feel it under the layers of her dress.
"You are not going anywhere, love."
"I am and I will. Let go of me. And take that thing out of your mouth. It's disgusting." She was the definition of beauty and trouble in one.
"You really are mischievous, huh?" I threw the cigarette on the floor and crushed it with my heel.
"I want to go see him."
