Mahnoor's POV

"Ma'am, you're all ready. You can take the robe off now." I got up from the chair and untied the robe. I looked at myself in the mirror and it looked gorgeous. Sparkles on my lids and a blurred red lip and the blush went so well. My hair was in loose curls and hung down to just below my waist.

But the dress. It was a moment itself. Dark wine red.

It had glitter but it wasn't showing that much but the girl told me that it would look gorgeous at night with the minimal lights

It had glitter but it wasn't showing that much but the girl told me that it would look gorgeous at night with the minimal lights. The dress dragged slightly on the floor.

"It's perfect. I feel gorgeous. Thank you!"

"Oh, I almost forgot. Your shoes."

"Let me grab them." I opened the drawer to see the most stunning pair of red bottoms.

"Woahh." I pulled them out and gently put them on. I didn't want to ruin them. I carefully stood up and the dress was no longer dragging on the floor.

"And here's your bag." I swung the gold chain on my shoulder and placed my phone and lip combo inside.

*knock on the door*

"Come in."

I look in the door's direction to see Shahmeer walking in and he looks straight at me. He stops in his tracks. The girl grabs her stuff and leaves us two alone in the room. He walks towards me and I can feel my cheeks turning red from his gaze. Just by the way he looked at me. And I hated it. He looked at me from head to toe, taking in everything. He was wearing a wine red tie and a wine red hankerchief to match me. He looked...nice.

He pulled my arm up and twirled me causing my hair to hit his chest. I quickly took my hand back.

"Looks good. You ready?" 'Looks good?' I looked perfect. Maybe he needs glasses.

"I guess."

"Which ride?" I knew if I didn't give an answer he would still make me choose so I pointed to the 7th one in the garage.

"That one."

"The Rolls-Royce Sweptail. Handcrafted over a four-year period, Sweptail is based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé. Motivated by the coachbuilding of the 1920s and 1930s, a super-yacht and aircraft specialist had the car commissioned in 2013."

"Sounds fancy."

"I wonder why." The guard opened the car doors for us and we sat inside.

                                                                                          ___________

"Does it make me a coward to say I'm scared?"

"It's your first time at one of these events. You'll get over it in a while."
