Mahnoor's POV:

I was working on one of the workers' computers trying to figure out the problem.

"Ma'am we've put up ads on a billboard to advertise the company but there hasn't been the slightest incline in bookings."

The ad looked great. Nothing was missing. Unless...

"Where is this billboard?"

"It's next to the motorway."

I checked the location of the city, to the billboard's location. It wasn't there. Had they been scammed.

"There's no billboard here. Are you sure this is the right location? Maybe it's on the next junction."

"Ma'am this is the exact location. It says it on the form aswell. It should be there."

"To me, it clearly looks as though it isn't there."

"Ma'am, Mr Jafri will fire us. This was our responsibilty." The others looked concerned too.

"No one is firing anyone today. Calm down."

"Ma'am, what do we do then?"

"One of you, go to Shahmeer's office and let him know that it isn't there."

"NOT ME!" They all said, in fact, shouted in sync.

"UMAIR, YOU GO." One of them suggested.

"I'M NOT GOING. I JUST WENT AND HE WAS MAD."

I just stared as they played ping pong with the choices. Were they that scared?

"You know what? I'll go."

"Thank you so much, Ma'am."

I got up and went back to his office. This place was a maze. I finally reached his room after going around in circles many times. I opened the door and looked inside.

"You're supposed to knock when you come in. Basic manners."

"You're the one who needs manners, but whatever."

"How can I help you then?"

"Apparently, your company has put up a billboard to advertise your company on the motorway."

"Indeed."

"Well, there isn't a billboard at the location."

He stood up from his chair.

"What do you mean the billboard's not there?"

"I mean...the billboard isn't there." Was there a double meaning?

He sat back down and started typing away on his computer.

"The form wasn't a fake and the billboard is real. I've seen it before. Look."

I went around the desk and stood behind him and looked at the form. It look pretty legitimate to me. I thought for a minute.

"The idiots messed it up. It was just a form."

"No. They didn't do anything."

"Then what?" I thought again before I said my statement and hoped he wouldn't mock me for my suspicion.

"The billboard must have been removed." He went quiet after I said that and opened the news website. What on Earth was he doing? He went back to the form and checked what date it was submitted on. He opened the news website again and went to that date only to find an accident at the same location, on the same day, on the motorway.

"Ohh. So someone had an accident there." He ignored me and opened the news article as if there was more to it. Karma hit him hard after what he did to Farjaad.
