Sav's pov"You finished seventh, which is super impressive, so I'll buy you every single drink you want tonight." I tell Logan.
He scored points, Oscar and Carlos both scored a podium, and Lando won. The five of us, along with Carlos's girlfriend, Eva, and Pato, all went to party together.
"Okay but I still have to pay for Eva." He points out, as if Eva will drink any more than two drinks tonight. She's not a heavy drinker.
I shake my head. "I'll pay for her, too."
"Oh, Sav I can-" Eva starts, and I wave her off. "No, no it's fine. Honestly I could probably pay for everyone's drinks and I'd still be fine." I shrug.
Logan took advantage of my very kind offer. Two hours later and he's had four shots and five drinks. He finds everything hilarious, his face has gone red from his continuous laughter.
"Hey guys let's play truth or dare." He suggests. I roll my eyes. "Logan, we aren't teenagers." He puts on a very dramatic frown.
"Truth or dare, Logan." Pato asks him, who's also more than a few drinks in. I throw my hands up in defeat. "So immature." I mutter to Eva. She chuckles.
"Hm." He rubs his thumb and pointer finger along his chin as if there's a beard there. "Truth." He answers.
Pato scoffs. "Boring." He then squints his eyes and searches around the room, like his many questions are scribbled along the walls, and he's choosing which one he should ask.
He finally turns back to Logan. "Have you and Sav ever kissed?"
I throw my head back and stare up at the ceiling. "Oh my god for the trillionth time we have never-"
"No." Logan cuts me off, and then laughs. "But I wish we had, I used to have the biggest crush on her. Like, I think I was two seconds away from being in love with her." He continues laughing, while the rest of the room falls silent.
I feel Eva tense up beside me, and attempt to scoot away. She doesn't get very far.
"Logan..." I trail off. He looks at me, and seems to catch the vibe of the room, his face falling. I shake my head at him.
Eva stares down at her heels, rubbing the sides of them against each other.
"When?" Oscar suddenly asks him, his voice sharp, and his jaw set. Logan's gaze drifts to him, looking confused. "Uh... since we were teens to about a few years ago? Five, maybe?" Logan blinks, still confused. Oscars face doesn't change.
Abruptly, his grabs ahold of my wrist. His grip is harsh, and he pulls me up from the couch with it. "I think it's time me and Savannah should be going." His words are quick, and while he's visibly fuming, the words are also steady and rather calm. He also used my full name.
He drags me by the wrist out of the club, his fingers digging into my skin. I try to wiggle free but it's no use. "Ouch. Oscar stop, please it hurts." I plea, my voice pinching on the last word.
His steps stutter, and his grip loosens significantly. I could easily pull away from him, but I don't.
He opens the driver's door for me, his thumb running gently over the back of my hand as I get in. I offered to drive so that he could have a few celebratory drinks. He's sober enough right now to somewhat think, just not drive.
