Oscar's povSavannah went into the bathroom about an hour ago. I haven't seen her since, but she's been singing along to the music she's playing the entire time.
I finished getting ready twenty minutes ago. So I've been sitting on the bed in my dress shirt and pants, waiting for her.
The door clicks open. "Osc I think I left my lip liner on the desk." She calls. Sure enough, the small pencil was sitting next to her handbag.
She's hiding behind the door. Only her hand sticks out from a crack in the door. "Thank you!" She chirps when I place the pencil into her open palm.
I resume my place on the bed, and it's not long after that she comes out. She exits the bathroom with her arms open wide, doing a cute little spin when she reaches the space right in front of me.
She looks absolutely stunning from head to toe. The white dress suits her perfectly, making her look like the angel she is. "You're drooling." She laughs, and her eyes light up with a sparkling smile.
"Well..." I trail off, grabbing onto her hips and pulling her to me. She willingly slots herself between my legs. "Can you blame me? You look incredible."
She softly bites her bottom lip and looks away. Her hands find mine on her hips, and she laces them together. "Come on we're going to be late." She's shy. It's cute. But she entirely brushed off the compliment.
She takes three steps toward the door before I pull her back to me, stumbling right into the seat of my lap. Her eyes have widened, a look of nothing but shock on her face. "You spent a lot of time on this look, don't be all shy about it." I can't help the smirk that forms on my face as she looks at me like she's trying to decode me.
"What?" It's genuine confusion. She's not playing dumb. It's obvious in her tone and her expression. I tuck a fallen strand of hair behind her ear. "Say you look incredible."
She throws her head back laughing. "Absolutely not." She looks at me like I'm a crazed man, shaking her head in disagreement.
She pops up off my lap, standing right in front of me. "Now, I'm hungry so can we please go before we miss our reservation and have to eat fast food for my birthday?" She takes one of my hands, tugging on it gently to try and get me up.
I hold back a laugh, but a smile still breaks its way through. "Yeah, yeah okay."

After our three hour long dinner, I surprised her with a party. It was only a small one, some of the drivers and their girlfriends in attendance.
A couple hours in, and multiple drinks later, she's laughing with Alex and Lily. Alex's voice doesn't reach me, but it's clear that he's made a joke as the both of them laugh. He nods at something she says as she walks backwards. She turns around, running right into Lando.
She stumbles backwards, looking disoriented for a moment before realization takes over her face. She gives a short laugh. "Lando! Have you seen Oscar?" I'm quite literally standing right next to him.
Lando glances at me from the corner of his eye, the both of us trying not to laugh. "Yeah. He's-" he can't in on his laughs. They spill out halfway through his sentence.
I lightly grab onto her upper arm. "sweetheart?" Her gaze flits to me, her eyes brightening—sparkling, really—and her smile sneaking slowly onto her lips while she bites back a giggle. "I love it when you call me that. Makes me feel like a little princess." She bites down on the nail of her index finger with a shy laugh.
