Third person pov

Atsushi has been recently struggling with everything, atsushi couldn't sleep because of nightmares, atsushi was always stressed about work, dazai didn't help at all and basically made atsushi even more stressed and sometimes. Atsushi got hallucinations of the headmaster, which just made everything worse, the headmaster was always watched atsushi, the headmaster would talk and atsushi couldn't do anything because the headmaster wasn't real. atsushi wanted to feel something so he decided to start self-harm.

Atsushi didn't know what else to do, he didn't want to be a a bother to the others so he kept it a secret and kept self-harming. The agency didn't notice anything wrong with atsushi but chuuya did notice something. He was basically atsushi best friends, atsushi and chuuya became friends by accident. Chuuya knew atsushi very well so he knew something was wrong but atsushi would always brush it off so chuuya never knew what was wrong but he has his suspicions. Chuuya decided to pay atsushi a visit, he didn't tell atsushi at all, which was probably a good decision. Atsushi was shocked to hear the door opening, atsushi didn't have time to heal his arms or move so chuuya saw it. Chuuya looked surprised, atsushi was on the ground, holding a knife in his hand, there was blood all over atsushi arms and a bit on the floor.

"Atsushi!" Chuuya said as he immediately grab the knife, atsushi just started to cry, he didn't know what else to do. "Atsushi..It okays.." Chuuya softly said as he pulled atsushi into a hug, atsushi injuries were already healing so chuuya didn't have to worry about that and he mainly focus on calming down atsushi. "Shh..it okays.." Chuuya softly said again as he hold atsushi in his arms, atsushi just cries into chuuya chest, chuuya didn't mind it. "I'm sorry.." Atsushi suddenly said, atsushi didn't need to apologize but he just felt like he has too. "Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong.." Chuuya softly said, atsushi just nodded, atsushi wasn't sobbing but he was still crying.

"Atsushi..what has been going on? Talk to me.." Chuuya said, chuuya was worried, atsushi was always happy so finding out that atsushi isn't okay, chuuya was concerned. Atsushi just sigh, he couldn't hide it anymore, he couldn't make a excuse so he told chuuya everything. Chuuya was surprised, he didn't know anything, he felt bad for not knowing sooner but he knew now and he will help atsushi, no matter what. "Atsushi, you should have told me or anyone else, we can help you." Chuuya softly said, atsushi just looked down as more tears started to fall down again. "I just..didn't want to be a burden." Atsushi slowly said, chuuya hearts just broke, atsushi could never be a burden to anyone.

"Atsushi...you're not a burden to anyone." Chuuya softly said as he pulled atsushi into a another hug, atsushi just nodded as he started to cry again, which was pretty fine with chuuya. Chuuya just hold atsushi in his arms again as atsushi cries again and soon the crying stop but chuuya didn't dare let go of atsushi. "Are you hungry?" Chuuya softly asked, atsushi just slowly nod, chuuya just sighed as he picked up atsushi and put him on the couch. "I'll make you some dinner." Chuuya softly said, atsushi just nodded as chuuya went to the kitchen. Chuuya made some tea on rice because it was atsushi favorite and atsushi was happy about that.

"I'm staying with you atsushi..and tomorrow, we can talk more about what to do." Chuuya softly explain, atsushi couldn't argue with chuuya, even if atsushi try to argue, he wouldn't win so atsushi just nodded, accepting the fact that he will get help. Atsushi quickly ate the tea on rice, chuuya just watched. After that, atsushi suddenly yawn, it was night time so it made sense that atsushi was tired. "Let get you to bed." Chuuya softly said, atsushi just nodded again as they walk into the bedroom and atsushi quickly change into some PJs and lucky enough chuuya has some of his clothes at atsushi place so he change into those.

Atsushi and chuuya were going to cuddle, atsushi love to cuddle and chuuya didn't mind. Atsushi just sigh as he lay on the bed and chuuya just hold onto atsushi again, it is normal to cuddle your best friends so this wasn't weird to them and before chuuya knew it, atsushi was sound asleep. Chuuya just smiled as he slowly closed his eyes as well, soon chuuya fell asleep as well.

The next day, atsushi and chuuya had a serious discussion about what to do, it was decided that they should tell the president about what happened. Atsushi got break from work and atsushi was doing therapy now to help with this issues. While dazai was threatened by chuuya so dazai now does his work so atsushi won't be that stress out about work. Atsushi is doing a lot better and that all that really matters in the end.
