Inside the dimly lit interrogation room, East sat with his hands cuffed behind his back, his jaw clenched in frustration and anger. The raid had turned up nothing but a few guns, yet the accusations against him felt like a heavy weight pressing down on his chest. As the reality of the situation sank in, East's mind raced with worry for his brother and frustration at the injustice of it all. The news of Chris being shot had hit him like a punch to the gut, adding fuel to the fire of his anger."Damn it," East muttered under his breath, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. He longed to be by Chris's side, to offer him the support and comfort he desperately needed. But instead, he found himself trapped in this suffocating room, facing false accusations and a restraining order from a bitter woman. The mere mention of her name ignited a rage deep within him, fueled by memories of their tumultuous past. As he waited for his lawyer to arrive, East's thoughts swirled with a mixture of frustration and despair. How could he be facing such serious allegations when all he wanted was to protect his family and keep them safe? Finally, the door creaked open, and East's lawyer entered the room, a determined look on his face. With a sense of relief, East knew that he would fight tooth and nail to clear his name and reunite with his brother, no matter what obstacles stood in his way.

Brooke, Kierra, and Mrs. Brewster entered Chris's hospital room, their hearts heavy with concern for both Chris and East. Chris lay in the hospital bed, pale and weak from the surgery, but a small smile lit up his face as he saw them enter."Chris!" Brooke exclaimed, rushing to his side and enveloping him in a gentle hug.Kierra followed suit, her eyes brimming with tears of relief. "We're so glad you're okay," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.Mrs. Brewster hovered nearby, her eyes filled with motherly concern as she reached out to gently caress Chris's cheek. "My baby boy, we were so worried about you," she said, her voice soft and trembling. Chris managed a weak smile, grateful for their presence despite the pain he was in. "I'm alright, Mom, babe, sis. Just glad to still be here," he replied, his voice hoarse. As they settled in around Chris's bedside, the room was filled with a somber silence, each of them lost in their own thoughts. But as the minutes ticked by, the weight of East's absence hung heavy in the air, a reminder of the shadow that loomed over their joyous reunion. "Kierra took a deep breath, exchanging a worried glance with Mrs. Brewster before speaking up. "Chris, there's something we need to tell you about East," she began, her voice trembling slightly. Chris's brow furrowed in confusion as he sat up a bit straighter, his heart pounding with apprehension. "What about East? he okay?"Mrs. Brewster stepped forward, her hand reaching out to grasp Chris's gently. "He's been arrested, Chris," she explained, her voice filled with sorrow. "They found guns, and...I'm sorry, son. He's in jail."Anger flashed in Chris's eyes as the reality of the situation sank in. "What?!" he exclaimed, his voice rising with frustration. "He's in jail?! And I'm lying here in a hospital bed? WHAT TF MAN!"Brooke reached out to comfort him, placing a hand on his arm. "Chris, we know it's not fair," she said softly, her heart breaking for him. "But we're going to do everything we can to help, okay? We won't let him go through this alone."Kierra nodded in agreement, her eyes brimming with tears. "We're here for you, Chris. And we'll be there for East too. We'll get through this together as a family."Despite their reassurances, Chris couldn't shake the anger and frustration that burned within him. As he lay back against the pillows, his mind raced with worry for his brother.

As Kierra left the hospital, her mind was filled with worry for Chris and frustration over East's predicament. She made her way home to the she shared with East, feeling the weight of her seven-month pregnancy with every step. As she settled into the plush surroundings of their home, her phone rang, an unknown number with a heavy sigh, she answered the call."Hello" Kierra answering her voice tired but filled with concern."Kierra, how's Chris?" East's voice was strained with worry."He's out of surgery," Kierra replied, trying to keep her own emotions in check. "The doctors say he's stable for now, but it's going to be a long road to recovery."A heavy silence hung between them, the weight of their worry palpable even through the phone line."I should be there with him," East said, his voice tinged with frustration. "Not stuck in this damn jail."Kierra felt a surge of frustration welling up inside her. "I know, East, but getting angry isn't going to help anyone.""I am worried about my brother !" East snapped back, his frustration boiling over. "But I can't do anything from here! I should be by his side, not locked up! "Kierra's patience snapped as she retorted, her own frustration reaching its peak. "Well, you're not helping anyone by acting like this, East! Chris needs us, and you being in jail isn't helping anyone!"The argument escalated quickly, both Kierra and East speaking over each other in a storm of emotion. As the call ended, Kierra was left feeling drained and defeated, her heart heavy with worry for both Chris and East. She sank onto the couch, tears welling up in her eyes as she grappled with the weight of their situation.
