Chapter 4

JENNIE's POV

:"I am definitely the most gorgeous statue here in your apartment" she said and I glared at her

Jennie: "We don't have any other statues so there's no competition there. Stop being so full of yourself" I rolled my eyes at her

: "And there is definitely no other person here so why am I here? To watch you think about what's been going on? Cause I can tell you now. I am loyal to my Bear " she crosses her arms and raises her eyebrows at me

Jennie: "Irine, will you just please shut up?" I irritatedly said

Irine: "I can do that on the phone or on the laptop. But no. You ask me to be here . Your fault " she rolled her eyes and I just sigh

Jennie: "I just need someone to talk to" I said in a low voice

Irine: "It's about her again, huh. How long since you both fought?"

Jennie:" I don't know. A week. Maybe two?" I answered unsure

Irine: "Wow. The power couple is not so powerful after all" she said disappointedly but I can't blame her

Jennie: "It's hard. We're living in one house but we barely sew each other. I thought that if I asked her directly about it that something might change, you know"

Irine:" Well, something really changed. Just not the way you expected it to be" she said in a low voice but I heard it and it definitely caught my attention

Jennie: "What do you mean?" I ask seriously and I can see that she's contemplating whether to tell me ot not

Irine: "Don't make a fuss about it"

Jennie: "I will definitely make a fuss about it because you clearly know something that I don't and I hate being in the shadows" i step closer to her causing her to step back

Irine: "Oh come on I wasn't even sure and I definitely don't know the whole story"

Jennie: "Doesn't matter. It definitely involves Lisa so I would like to know " i continue stepping closer to her

Irine: "Alright. Alright. Back up now, Tiger. You're making me sweat" she wiped her sweaty forehead and I just chuckled while returning to my sit

Jennie: "Start talking" i look at her and she fixes herself before settling down to her previous seat

Irine:" Okay. So as you know, I'm the secretary of LCorp. Therefore I have access to CCTV's at the office. When you start telling me your suspicions with Rosé and Lisa I keep a close eye on them. "

Jennie: "Well, thank you " i said seriously but she just glared at me

Irine: "It's not like that okay. I understand your jealousy or whatever possessiveness possessed you but I am also doing it so I can see for myself what kind of a friend Rosé is. We both know that she's not like that to steal someone's lover and I would regret it if I judge her based on the things that you saw with the messages and everything." She explained calmly and I got her point
