"You should know this, boy. With all the crap I've done in my life- very UNREASONABLE crap, this one amazes me. And that's saying something " Ms. Santana said after Liam dropped the bomb to us
"You're walking on VERY thin ice, Santana" Ms. Britt warns her wife again while glaring at her but she just looks at Ms. Brittany unbelievably
Santana: " Babe, seriously? You're going to buy his crap?" She points at Liam harshly causing me to glare at him too
"What do you want me to say Auntie Tana? That is really my reason. That's why I feel so embarrassed cause somebody beats me to it" Liam said so silently and cowered his head, clearly ashamed
Britt: "There is no shame in what you want to do, Liam. I was there, I can tell" Ms. Brittany comforted and defended him at the same time from Ms. Santana that she clearly forgot about another person being around
Santana: "Well, I can tell you otherwise. He is clearly a coward. Did you hear what he said? He said-"
B: " I heard what he said, Santana and you of all the people should understand that it's not an easy thing to do because you know, deep inside of you that it is a scary thing to do" I can see how she becomes red and her eyebrows furrowed. She is clearly getting irritated with her wife
S: " His donor isn't." She shrugged her shoulder and I'm so grateful that she's saying the things I can't say right now.
L: " I know she's not. She's brave and I admire her. If it weren't for her, I -"
S: "It's a girl? You let a girl do the job that you say you want to do, Liam? " She asked him in an unbelievable tone then turned her attention to me "Cat-eyes, if you're not deaf and you clearly heard what he said, you should know the next thing you should do" she looked at me seriously and I looked at Liam with no emotion. Cause I don't really know what I should feel
"We travelled miles away from home. Let your cousin do our jobs. Postponed some very important meetings so we can go here and disturb your Aunts so you can tell me that the reason you wouldn't tell anyone you were sick , because a girl saved you? " I stared at him and talked slowly just to make sure I got everything right
S: " Thank you for summarizing what we have been discussing for more than half an hour now, Cat-eyes " she said sarcastically
L: Leave her alone, Auntie Tana. " I saw how Liam clenching his teeth trying to hold back his temper
S: "Would you look at that. There is my favorite man. The feisty Liam Lee. Glad to know you're still here with me" she smirks at him and he just slumped his shoulder when he met my eyes
"Answer me, Liam" i said as my question got neglected
B: "Okay, you know what? I feel like it is enough talking right now. You're both tired and maybe hungry? Right, you're hungry. Come on now Liam, help me in the kitchen" Ms. Brittany quickly intervened leaving no time for Liam to answer as he was being dragged.
I am so pissed by what happened that I quickly grab my suitcase cause being here is clearly a waste of my time and just costs me to hate him so much.
"Coward" i murmured
I heard a chuckle and I looked at her while glaring
S: "Whoa. Chill out cat-eyes, I know for a fact that our ancestors clearly got heat with each other. My snixx twin can defeat your cat reflex" she said while smirking and I'm pretty sure that she's talking about how cats defeat snakes by reflex but I am not in the mood to think of these things as I quickly pulled my suitcase towards the front door.
Until she said a word that stops my movement
"Hypocrite" she said enough for me to hear it and took an interest
J: "What did you just say to me? " I am so pissed right now that I was ready to throw some harsh words evern though she's older than me
S: "I said you are hypocrite" she said calmly while smiling at me sarcastically
J: "With all due respect, I can't tolerate you calling me like that because you know nothing about me" i am literally growling while speaking
S: "Really? Then when are you gonna tell him about Lisa?" She said while stepping closer to me. How did she know about her? We never mentioned a name.
J: "He knows about her. Liam knows who is his donor. Didn't Ms. Brittany told you too?" I was trying to play with her mind games
S: "I'm not talking about being a donor. I'm talking about you being her lover before she died" she stopped walking and I felt everything stopped too
J: " How did you- I don't even know what you're talking about." I am muttering words I'm clearly not believing
S: " You should know better than to lie to a lawyer. Do you really think that I would allow anybody to for more than a minute to stay at my house with my pregnant wife without knowing everything about them? " She said while waving her phone in front of me with my details on its screen
" I gotta give it to you tho. You stressed me out trying to decipher it. You hid your relationship with her pretty well. Or.... Maybe he is just too gullible with the fact that his new heart is still attracted to you? The only thing that reminds you of Lisa's existence? "
