#R39 Surgeon's Solitude

👵》Cover / Title
The cover doesn't really showcase the solitude part, but title and blurb (Story) does fit though the name of the characters and character in the cover feels weird? Name sounds Indian but looks korean? Could do with a better cover in my opinion regardless.

👵》Blurb/Story Description
The first lines of the blurb are nice, the character's circumstance (Unrequited love in arranged marriage) is clear, and the motivations (Healing and divorcing the husband?) is set, not a very unique premise by itself so it would help if you include what makes the book different from the rest.

👵》World
You write the scenes, using five senses such as the cold wind blowing out (Feel), music in the background (Hearing), and memory flashing in front of her eyes (Visual). So I think you have the right idea of how to set the scenes...but describing the immediate surrounding would be nice to give a visual backdrop for the scene the characters are in.

👵》Plot & Conflict
The plot does start immediately, straight into the drama of her husband walking out of their relationship but unfortunately I didn't read past the first chapter, so I cannot comment on the pacing / conflicts and etc.

👵》Characters
I can see that you try to evoke the character's emotions and experience, using the character's past and abilities to convey how hurt she is (Her usually strong knees become weak during the break up), even the character descriptions are woven into the scenes. Again I think you have the right idea on how to write the scenes.

👵》Enjoyment/EngagementI think the English could be improved, early on there are noticeable issues with the wording / sentences. As I said I think you have the right ideas on how to write the scenes but I think how it is written is kind of a deal breaker, it was really hard to read through for me so improving english would be good for the story IMO. I am sorry, it's not very engaging when I have to auto-correct things / try to make sense of the words as I read.
