It happened again the next day and the next. Why Mike chose to break the hard, steadfast rule he'd set for himself he didn't know, but he found himself doing it anyway. It wasn't that Nurit was any better than other women he'd been with, and the sex DEFINITELY couldn't compare to sex with his wife. Still, he went back.
He knew even as he was amidst the act itself that it was a mistake. Women tended to get ideas once you'd fucked them a few times. Of course with her track record, he'd thought Nurit would be the last type of woman to develop the dreaded sentiment. Maybe THAT was why he'd thought it would be safe to do her more than once. He'd been wrong. She was most certainly catching 'feelings.'
She'd started wanting to do more than just screw and asking some very uncomfortable and inconvenient questions about Ellen. What was she like? Were they close? Did they have a lot in common? Nurit even expressed a none too subtle and totally inappropriate interest in the intimate details of their sex life. She must have thought because he was so willing to indulge elsewhere that it was unsatisfying, boring, or even non-existent.
Finally with great reluctance and more than a little irritation, he made it plain that they obviously did fuck (She certainly hadn't gotten pregnant through immaculate conception), and that said fucking was A. Frequent and B. Singularly amazing, hoping it might deter her growing fascination/obsession with him somewhat. It didn't. Either she didn't believe him or was so overly confident of her own appeal that she thought it didnt matter. He continued to screw her, but began to actively attempt to envision a way out. He had no idea how far down the rabbit hole he'd fallen and how impossible it would prove to escape.
