Zero's POV:
March 1st, 2093, 12:45:
A Secret Alliance facility in Northern Washington:

Driving a jeep, I was making my way to this Alliance facility that was raided not too long ago. Of course, this place gets raided when I'm the only one nearby on my solo-objective mission. The question of the hour is, was this Cerberus, the Corrupters Armada, or someone else entirely. Hm, wonder if anyone else is already here...yeah, that was a dumb question.

Passing a grouping of burnt trees, I saw helicopters and other military vehicles all around the burnt checkpoint. Looking around, I park the jeep to the side before getting out, stretching my back before walking in. There were investigators everywhere, looking at the corpse's, destroyed buildings, and even the burnt ground for the slightest of clues. I could help them, but I'm on a tight schedule, especially since I only have two days before I need to come back.

Normally, a situation like this I would let other people handle it unless called, but there was something that brought me here. According to a survivor's testimony, what little there was, there was a female grey wolf that was here capable of using powers. If there's a Powered out here raiding us, then we seriously have a problem, especially if she's with the Armada.

Hearing rushing footsteps, I turned around and saw the person who was in charge here. He was a tall Rhino Anthro with a scared horn, followed by two heavily armored reptilians. Turning to them, they stopped approaching as the Rhino said,

Male Rhino Alliance captain: "Zero, to what do we owe the pleasure."

Zero: "Heard a Powered was here, I just wanted to confirm."

Male Rhino Alliance captain (chuckles): "Good luck, whoever was here destroyed all security footage."

He then walked away, leaving me to wander around as I please. If they were professional enough to destroy the security footage, what could have they been after? By the looks of it, outside won't provide any answers, so I should probably go inside.

Walking to the doorway, or what's left of it, it showed signs of a breakout rather than a break in. Alright, so whoever did this was already inside before this happened. Walking past it, I took notes of the craters filled with dried blood on the floor, walls, and even the roof. After following the trail, I turned a hallway, finding myself just a few dozen feet from an elevator.

Alright, there's probably more answers if I go down. Walking over to it, I saw what looked like mangled bodies of Alliance personal, poor bastards. Hearing a drip, I look up and see a canine soldiers corpse on the roof, practically attached. So far, all these show signs of major strength,  but no powers.

Just as I walk over to the buttons, I hear the elevator door open. Looking inside, I was surprised to see Igor and Kagiso inside, and by the looks of it, they were surprised as well as Kagiso said,

Kagiso (raises hand): "Zero, long time no see friend."

Zero (grabs hand): "Same with you two, what're the two of you doing here?"

Igor (grabs Zero's hand): "We were assigned with the investigation team sent here, and before you ask, we found nothing so far."

Zero: "Damn, any idea what they were after?"

Igor: "There's a vault in one of the lower levels that was broken into, but there was nothing in there besides a stand."

Zero (walks into the elevator): "Show me."

We then began descending down, catching up with each other while we were waiting to reach the floor. Both have been doing well, with Igor getting his own squad next month and Kagiso finding a girlfriend. Both Igor and I teased him after finding out, wondering when their wedding was. Before more teasing could be made, the elevator doors open, showing a hallway entirely covered in dried blood.
