Sitting in the living room of our quarters, I was waiting with the rest of the team until we would finally meet the Bravo Team. They should be arriving soon, so we won't have to wait much longer. Looking at Zero and Chloe, I saw Chloe watch Zero intently while he discussed both his and Chloe's adventures to that Dystopian future.

It's terrifying that these portals aren't a one-time thing. However, so far, the only two occurrences of these portal, both of which I was present, involved either the meeting of two vastly powers meeting at a high strength, or by a person making it themselves. When Zero and Huntress created the first portal, it made me think about whether powers were able to be used to open portals, and with that other man from that army we still haven't identified, it's clear it's something only a few people possess.

As we wait, Douglas comes shambling in, nearly tripping over himself several times before falling onto an empty couch face first. It only took me a quick whiff before I recoiled in disgust at the smell of alcohol. Clearly, Douglas was drunk, which is more surprising than disappointing since our immune systems made it impossible to get drunk.

As I thought this, Chloe asked,

Chloe: "How are you drunk?"

Douglas (lifts up an unmarked bottle before looking at everyone with a cheesy smile): "I-hic, made some-hic, wanna try?"

Chloe (stands up and walks over to him): "How much?"

Douglas (shrugs before drinking more from the bottle): "Lost count-hic, after the first-hic, dozen."

Spirit's, he's really gone and done it now. Not only at the fact that he's acting this way but making unregistered beer inside a military base. If Helena wasn't the one commanding the Alpha Team, then Douglas would receive a court martial. However, that seemed to be the least of any worries that may be on his mind right now.

Chloe, visibly disappointed, takes the bottle from Douglas's hand and begins walking to the kitchen, intending to pour it out. Douglas was quick as he rolled off the couch, tried to get up, fails miserably, then says,

Douglas: "You can't-hic, pour that stuff-hic, out, it's a-hic, something that'll help-hic, us relax."

Chloe (pours beer down the drain): "I hope for your sake you're only saying that because of the drunkenness you're having. You should feel ashamed for what you did, having come out in such a mess."

Douglas tried saying something, but his words turned gibberish as he tried speaking. After pouring it, she looks at Via and says,

Chloe: "Via, help your brother to bed and dispose of all the alcohol he made, if he tries to stop you, I will allow you to knock him out if necessary."

Via (rolls her eyes before getting up and walking over to Douglas, grabbing his shoulders and helping him up): "Whatever you say, come on brother, let's get you some sleep."

Douglas was then dragged by Via down the hallway to our rooms, drunkenly saying something I couldn't quite hear. As that happened, Chloe started talking to someone on her com-link. After a moment, she says,

Chloe: "Understood ma'am, (turns to the others in the living room) Bravo Team is about to arrive and Helena wants us to meet them. Douglas is currently drunk and unable to even walk properly, so he's staying in bed until his hangover is finished. I want the rest of you follow me to the me hanger bay, where the Bravo Team should arrive via pelican."

After acknowledging her, I got up and picked up my helmet from the table before putting it on. After that, we waited for Via to return before entering the elevator. Getting in it, we waited for it to ascend to the ground floor. After it did and open the doors, we started making our way to the airport, where a new hanger bay was made just for Bravo Team.
