Rena's POV:
March 11th, 2093, 14:10:
Alliance base of Carway:
Sitting across from Zero of the dining table, I was staring in shock as to what he has just told us. What does he mean that Helena and Chloe are in trouble? If anything, it's whoever pisses Chloe off is who's in trouble. Yet, the seriousness behind his voice, and the shaking in his body, I don't think he's lying.
Oh, right, it's also the fact that his armor suddenly morphed back onto him. How exactly does that work, it isn't magic, as he has told us about his adventure with the wormhole. Before I could think of anything more, Douglas said from across the room,
Douglas: "Yeah, right, like anything could stop Chloe."
Zero (worried): "I'm not kidding, they're in trouble, they're being taken, or will be taken to a cave somewhere, th-"
Ruby (concerned): "Zero, are you ok?"
Zero (turns around and looks at her): "I'm not lying."
After he said that, he got up from his seat and started walking to the entrance of our quarters. Getting up as well, I walked over to him and grabbed his shoulder, stopping him from leaving. He didn't try to shove my hand off, but he did turn his body to me and looked at me in the eyes. Looking at him, I said,
Rena: "Look, we're all concerned about Chloe, since missions between her and Helena are extremely rare, but you have to consider that this could be a personal matter that we don't need to be involved in."
He didn't say anything after that, only continuing to silently stare at me. After what felt like an eternity, he lifted his left arm and gently took my hand off his shoulder. Afterwards, he sighed quietly before saying,
Zero: "I know it might not look it, but I have something, I'm not even sure I'd it's another power or not, that allows me to have a glimpse of the future, a possible one unless I intervene. Most of the time, the glimpses show dark stuff, and I have yet to be wrong with them."
Douglas (cackles): "Hahaha, oh, that's good, a human that can see the future, oh Spirit's, ahahahaha!"
Ignoring Douglas's antics, I turned to Zero before telling him,
Rena: "Take your helmet off and say that again, this time with your eyes out."
He immediately complied, taking his helmet off before repeating the words he just said. After he was done, and carefully examining his eyes, I could tell he wasn't lying. If I'm being honest to myself, I'm not too surprise. Yeah, seeing the future is something, but with all that's happen so far, it's something that can't be taken out of the rulebook.
Sighing, I cross my arms before looking down, thinking about what to do. I could just let Zero do his own thing, but if he's right, that Chloe and Helena are in trouble, I won't sit by. Looking back at him, I say,
Rena: "Alright, if you truly believe that your, 'vision,' is right, then you're taking me with you."
Via (scoffs): "Really, you're believing this bullshit too?"
I turned to her after she said that and gave her a hardened look, daring her to stop me. Upon seeing this, she got up from the couch and started walking towards me until she was right in front of me. While she may be stronger than me, I'm a better fighter, and we both know each other's strengths and weaknesses with how much we've fought one-on-one. As we stared each other down, Mariana asked,
Mariana: "Can we all just calm down and get along?"
Yeah, we'll both most likely knock each other out if we end up fighting right here and now...bring it on. Instead of preparing her fist, she scoffed before turning around, walking away. As she went down the hallways to our rooms, the sound of a door opening before closing. Huh, guess she didn't want to fight after all.
