(Chapter 23)/A Reaper's Conflict

Third person POV:
April 21st, 2093, 08:00:
Bardai, Chad:

Within the country of Chad, the Lost had set up a base camp in the ruins of Bardai, and they were all preparing for an upcoming conflict. The Lost themselves were guiding Reaper's to certain areas that they were needed, preparing traps, or preparing their rune powers. As for the Reaper's, they were very anxious, ready to begin whatever was to come.

The base camp was primarily tents with a Supernatural circular wall around it, with multiple Lost and Reaper sentries walking along the walls, watching for any sign of danger. Inside a large tent, next to a makeshift helipad with two pelicans on it, there were multiple individuals inside discussing plans of attacks. These individuals included the Alpha and Bravo Team's, the Lost Reaper King, the Oracle, the Darkness, Tremble, and Rex.

Today marked the day of a major operation that both the Lost and the Alliance would worked together in in order to take control of the entirety of Africa. If they were to succeed in this multi-battle operation, they would have the Continents of South America, Europe, and Africa under their complete control. With all of those resources, the Alliance would have a major step above the Corrupters Armada in Canada and could very well turn the tide of the war.

As everyone began settling down, the Lost Reaper King said,

Lost Reaper King: "Thank you for coming, Chosen and Alliance, we all appreciate that you would be willing to help in our efforts to liberate the Eastern Continents."

Rex: "If what the Darkness says is true about this, 'Reaper Warlord,' or whatever it's name is, then it's in both of our interests to stop it."

Oracle: "Then let us not waste more time, as we said already, this is but one battle for the control of Africa, however, this is the most significant battle."

After saying that, he brought his hand forward, the rune on the back of his hand glowing soon afterwards. Then, a glowing, large red ball appeared over the table, showing an area just a few miles from the base camp they were in. As everyone looked at it, Splinter commented,

Splinter: "While we do wish to help, your majesty, I'm afraid our weapons would prove ineffective against this Reaper horde that approaches us."

Darkness (opens cloak): "Take your pick."

Inside the cloak the Darkness wore was multiple different medieval style weapons of various Kingdoms and Dynasties. There were swords, axes, hammers, bows and arrows, mauls, shields, and a water gun. Everyone looked at the Darkness in confusion upon seeing the water gun, wondering why the Darkness carried it. Wondering what everyone was staring at, he looked inside his cloak, and upon seeing the water gun, he quickly took it out while saying,

Darkness: "My apologies, it seems I forgot to place this back after using it, now then, where were we, ah yes take your pick."

Rena (confused): "Exactly what are these weapons made of, cause we all know conventional means won't kill these, Reaper's."

Darkness (chuckles): "It seems you have yet to learn the full extent of the Reaper Crystals that you use for energy purposes."

After saying that, the Darkness placed all of the weapons on a table nearby for the Alpha and Bravo Team's to pick up later. As he did that, the Oracle pulled Chloe aside quietly to discuss a matter of grave importance to her and her alone. As they stood outside the tent, Chloe asked,
