Starlight - Shenhe

Shenhe is a popular idol while I am her manager, we often travel around the world along with her other star members that I managed.

During the audience interview, her work involves a certain amount of social interaction, so it may appear that she have come a long way from that isolated and antisocial girl you knew. However, to a certain extent, she's simply a wolf in sheep's clothing. The reality is that she don't actually know how to speak with people.

Her fame can help her to reach the hearts of people and inspire them to live better lives. Yet, she despise the unwanted attention that accompanies it. When she's not on stage, she's all but a faceless stranger... She simply wish to blend in with everyone else and enjoy a mundane life.

While Shenhe usually tries to maintain her aloof aura during performances, her true personality occasionally seeps through. While still reserved and serious by idol standards, she is much more pleasant to interact with when it's just me and her, leading fans to speculate that she has a soft side.

During the concert, Shenhe's dancing and singing seemed effortless and natural, and she displayed an amazing ability to express herself through body movements.

Her facial expressions were also perfectly on point and never seemed fake or forced. Although she might not be able to fully blend in with the crowd, her stage persona made her seem much more personable and likeable, especially on camera.

I know that underneath that seemingly indifferent demeanor is a fierce determination to see her work through. Shenhe has a sharp and analytical mind that easily calculates odds and outcomes.

Even if something goes wrong during a performance, her mind is still completely calm and clear. She is the type of person who could handle any situation without losing her composure.

Although the public may not be privy to her more intimate relationships, some of her fans have a tendency to delude themselves into believing that they share a deeper connection with her based on her public image and demeanor on stage. I've seen some of them go so far as to believe they have a romantic relationship with her.

On occasion, Shenhe would look into my eyes and smile, revealing a subtle warmth beneath that stoic exterior of hers. At first, I had been a complete workaholic. I had no tolerance for distractions, and would do everything I could to cut them out of my life, but ever since we met, I has slowly learned the value of a personal life.

Every night, at the most secluded places far away from the crowds, we could express the feelings we had kept hidden during the day. Every passionate embrace is like the final thread that we can hold onto when we have to put on a mask for the audience again.

The way she whispers my name always sends shivers down my spine. When we're alone together, she is not afraid to show her most vulnerable and sensitive side. It's as if the world ceases to exist when we are together in the moment.

Our physical interactions often leave me breathless and dizzy. Her touch overwhelms me with a sense of comfort and safety. Being so close with each other is like experiencing a warm, tender, and intimate embrace; it is as if she is trying to convey to me through her touch that she trust me above all else.

During the preparation period for the concert, we occasionally make eye contact on the backstage. She would smile a little and I would try to not show my affection. I always wonder what she must be thinking at these moments.

“...Is that clear everyone?” I asked the crew to which they nodded in response.

Even though she doesn't show a lot of facial expressions in public, the slight smile directed to me backstage gives me a rare glimpse into her thoughts. Was she remembering the moments we spent together? Was she thinking about how she'll keep her composure and perform flawlessly on stage? Or was she thinking about something else entirely? The possibilities are endless...
