Playful Romance - Furina

After giving the final verdict to a trial for today, Furina left the Opera Epiclese and walked past Y/n with an indifferent expression. She didn't even notice her. With a little twirl, Furina approached the next person and greeted him, starting a loud conversation.

The more Furina ignores Y/n's existence, the more depressed Y/n becomes. But at a certain point, she makes a decision.

"If you won't notice me, then I'll make you notice me."

Y/n comes up with a plan before walking towards Furina and lightly tap the Archon's shoulder.

"...Lady Furina, may I have a word with you?"

Furina stops in her tracks for a second and turns around, a bit surprised. Finally, the goddess of justice noticed the little mortal in front of her.

"Oh? What can I do for you?"

Y/n smiled.

"I was thinking about inviting you to a play- where you could be one of the lead actresses since that role suits you perfectly and I couldn't think another person with that role other than you, Lady Furina. I know this is quite sudden, coming from a stranger like me, but do you accept or not, my lady?"

Furina's heart skipped a beat as she heard the offer that made her stay silent for a second, a bit taken aback by Y/n's boldness.

"Hmm? A play? Is it that interesting?"

Furina thought for a second, she never liked the idea of being an actress, but she was rather curious about this mortal inviting her out of nowhere as a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

"Very well, if you really think it is necessary to see me in this role. But I'm curious, what exactly is this play about?"

Y/n just stared at her in surprised since Furina's answer clearly caught her off guard. She thought that the Archon would directly refuse her offer without hesitation.

"O-oh? You accept?"

Furina only looked back at Y/n without batting an eye and smirked, amused by Y/n's reaction.

"Of course, I said I was interested, didn't I? Do you want to make me angry with such questions, my dear mortal?"

A teasing smile appears on Furina's face. She's never been one to refuse some interesting entertainment.

Furina then takes Y/n by her hand and leads her away from the crowd. The Archon talks with such confidence that it's hard to say no. Furina is eager to hear more about her proposal.

"I already can see that it will be an interesting adventure indeed. And how did you come up with such an idea to invite the goddess of justice herself to the play?"

Y/n quickly retract her hand away from the Archon when there are fewer people left on sight before giving her response.

"Well, the play talks about two social class statuses..." Y/n says then glance at the goddess.

"...Two social class statuses..." The goddess repeated.

Furina thought for a second, she was a bit intrigued by that. She's never been a fan of social classes in reality, but maybe this play could be something more? Furina loves entertainment that hides its deeper meaning within it, especially if it touches sensitive social issues.

"This is a rather interesting subject, I'm a bit curious what can come out of it."

She looks at Y/n, a playful smile still playing on her face. She was clearly intrigued by Y/n's explanation, it seems like Y/n put a lot of thought into this idea. The description of the play sounds quite interesting to the archon. But Furina wants to know as much as possible.
