As Y/N exited the bathroom, the low buzz of the bar enveloped her once more. She paused, scanning the room for Yakimano. Spotting him at the bar, where he had promised to wait, she noticed his shoulders tense with alertness, his eyes never ceasing their surveillance of the room. Despite his overprotectiveness, a warm rush of affection swept through her; his concern, albeit excessive, stemmed from a deep love.

[Y/N]: "Back safe, see? Nothing to worry about."

[Yakimano]: (relaxing slightly) "I saw. You were quick."

[Y/N]: "I told you I would be. Can we relax a little now? Maybe enjoy our time here?"

Just as Yakimano nodded, the lights in the bar flickered ominously, casting shifting shadows across the walls. The atmosphere shifted; murmurs grew as patrons glanced around, uneasy with the disturbance. Yakimano's hand instinctively moved closer to Y/N, his body tensing again.

[Yakimano]: "Did you feel that? Something's not right."

[Y/N]: "It's probably just an electrical issue. Let's not let it spoil our evening."

As if on cue, the door to the bar swung open violently, a gust of cold air sweeping in. A tall, shadowy figure stepped inside, his gaze sweeping across the room until it landed on Y/N and Yakimano. The stranger's presence was menacing, and the room's energy shifted palpably.

[Yakimano]: (whispering) "Do you know him?"

[Y/N]: "No, I've never seen him before. Who is he?"

[Yakimano]: (under his breath) "Trouble. Stay close to me."

The stranger approached the bar, ordered a drink, and leaned against the counter, all the while keeping his eyes on Y/N and Yakimano. His stare was unsettling, but he made no move to approach further.

[Yakimano]: "We're leaving. Now."

[Y/N]: "But we just got here, and I'm starting to have a good—"

[Yakimano]: "It's not safe. Trust me."

Without waiting for her response, Yakimano grasped Y/N's hand firmly and led her toward the exit. As they passed the stranger, their eyes met briefly, a silent exchange of threats and warnings passing between them.

Once outside, the cold air felt like a splash of reality. Y/N's heart raced, not entirely from fear but also from the adrenaline of the unexpected.

[Y/N]: "Who was that"

[Yakimano]: "Someone from a past I thought I'd left behind. I can't tell you more now—not here. Let's get you home safe first."

As they hurried to their car, the night's tranquility was a stark contrast to the tension that had unfolded inside. Y/N sat quietly, piecing together Yakimano's reactions, the stranger's ominous presence, and the protective life they seemed destined to lead. Tonight had changed something, an invisible line crossed, pulling them deeper into a world of shadows and threats.
