In the days that followed, Yakimano was a man on the edge of a breakdown. He kept to himself, barely speaking. The weight of his actions and the fear of losing Y/N weighed on him heavily. The more he thought about her going to see Chris, the more his jealousy consumed him.

One evening, as Y/N sat on the couch, scrolling through her phone, Yakimano walked in. But there was a coldness, a distant look in his eyes that made her feel uneasy.

Y/N looked up as he entered, immediately sensing the change in his demeanor. "Is everything okay?" she asked tentatively.

Yakimano didn't answer right away, fixing his gaze on her phone. "Who were you texting?" his voice was low, almost a growl. "Just Chris," Y/N replied, her voice a little quieter now, sensing the tension in the air. "We were just planning for tomorrow."

Yakimano's eyes darkened at the mention of Chris's name. He walked over to her, towering over her as she sat on the couch. "Why do you need to see him so much?"Y/N couldn't ignore the possessiveness in his tone. "He's my friend, Yakimano. We've been friends for a long time."

Yakimano scoffs, his eyes flickering with jealousy. "Yeah, just a friend. I heard that before."

Y/N tried to keep her cool. "You know there's nothing going on between us. I'm with you, not him."Yakimano's grip on the armrest of the couch tightened. "But you keep seeing him. Spending time with him. Why?"

Y/N sighs, growing a little frustrated. "Because he's my friend, Yakimano. I'm allowed to have friends outside of our relationship."

He leaned closer, his voice dropping lower. "Not if they're as close to you as he is."Y/N felt a pang of hurt in her chest but fought to keep her composure. "You're being unreasonable. I've known Chris for years. He's been a constant in my life, even before you."

Yakimano's jealously flared up. "And that's exactly why I don't want you seeing him anymore."Y/N's eyes widened in disbelief at his words. "You can't be serious. You want me to cut off a longstanding friendship just because you're jealous?"

Yakimano's jaw clenched, his expression hardening. "I'm not just jealous, Y/N. I'm sick of him taking your time, your attention. I'm the one you should be spending time with, not him."Y/N couldn't believe what she was hearing. "So it's all about time and attention for you? That's what you're mad about?"

Yakimano crossed his arms over his chest, his voice taking on a menacing tone. "It's more than that. I don't trust him. I think he wants more than just friendship with you."Y/N wanted to laugh at the absurdity of his statement. "That's ridiculous. Chris has never made any advances towards me."

Yakimano's expression darkened. "How can you be so sure? Maybe he's just been waiting for the right opportunity."Y/N rolled her eyes, her patience wearing thin. "You're being paranoid, Yakimano. There is absolutely nothing going on between me and Chris."

Yakimano didn't budge. If anything, his jealousy intensified. "Maybe not on your side, but he's into you. I can tell."Y/N's frustration boiled over. "And what gives you the right to decide who I can and can't spend time with?"

Yakimano took a step closer, his voice dropping into a near whisper. "I have every right. You're mine. You belong to me, Y/N. No one else."
