That night Y/N stumbled into the living room, clearly drunk. Her eyes were glazed, and she giggled as she tried to kick off her shoes.

Yakimano was sitting on the couch, legs spread comfortably, a glass of water on the coffee table in front of him. He watched her, concern etched on his face. "Y/N, are you okay?" he asked, standing up.

She waved a hand dismissively, her speech slurred. "I'm fine, Yakimano. Just had a bit too much fun, that's all."

He approached her, gently taking her arm. "You need to drink some water. Come on, sit down."

Y/N pulled away, her tone playful but defiant. "I don't need water. I'm perfectly fine."

Yakimano's jaw tightened. "Y/N, you're drunk. You need to hydrate. Please, just sit down and drink some water."

She shook her head, trying to walk past him but stumbling slightly. "No, I don't want to."

Frustration flared in Yakimano. He stepped in front of her, his voice firm. "I'm not asking, Y/N. I'm telling you. Sit down and drink some water."

Y/N's eyes flashed with anger. "You can't tell me what to do, Yakimano."

He took a deep breath, trying to keep his cool. "I'm trying to take care of you. Please, just sit down."

She crossed her arms, stubbornly standing her ground. "No."

Without warning, Yakimano grabbed her shoulders, forcing her to sit on the couch. He grabbed the glass of water and held it out to her. "Drink."

Y/N glared at him, her defiance burning brightly. "I said no."

Yakimano's patience snapped. He leaned closer, his voice low and intense. "Y/N, you need to drink this water. I'm not going to let you make yourself sick."

Her eyes widened at his tone, but she refused to back down. "I don't need you to take care of me like this, Yakimano. I can handle myself."

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know you can, but right now, you're not thinking straight. Please, just drink the water."

Y/N looked at him, her expression softening slightly. She could see the worry and care in his eyes, but she was too stubborn to admit he was right. "Fine," she muttered, taking the glass and drinking a small sip. "Happy now?"

Yakimano relaxed a bit, sitting down next to her. "I'm just trying to make sure you're okay, Y/N. I care about you."

She sighed, leaning back on the couch. "I know. But you can't always control everything, Yakimano."

He nodded, understanding dawning on him. "You're right. I'm sorry if I came on too strong. I just... I worry about you."

Y/N gave him a small smile. "I appreciate that. But sometimes, you need to let me make my own decisions, even if they're not the best ones."

He reached out, taking her hand. "I'll try. Just promise me you'll take care of yourself, too."

She squeezed his hand gently. "I promise."

The tension between them eased, and they sat in silence for a while, holding hands and reflecting on their conversation. Y/N's drunkenness gradually wore off, and she rested her head on Yakimano's shoulder, feeling a mix of love and frustration.

Yakimano kissed the top of her head, grateful for her understanding. "Let's get you to bed," he said softly.

Y/N nodded, allowing him to help her up. As they made their way to the bedroom, she realized that while their journey was far from perfect, they were both committed to making it work. And that was enough for now.
