Locked in the cold, dimly lit basement, Y/N's mind raced with fear and anger. She banged on the door, shouting, "Yakimano, let me out! This isn't how you prove your love!"
Upstairs, Yakimano paced, his thoughts a whirlwind of regret and fury. He knew he had crossed a line, but the jealousy and fear of losing Y/N clouded his judgment. He sat on the couch, his head in his hands, trying to calm himself down.
Minutes felt like hours as Y/N sat on the basement floor, wrapping her arms around herself for warmth. She couldn't believe this was happening. The man she loved had turned into a monster right before her eyes. Tears of frustration and betrayal streamed down her face.
Finally, Yakimano stood up, determination setting in. He unlocked the basement door and descended the stairs, his expression a mix of remorse and desperation. "Y/N," he called out softly, "I'm sorry."
