Y/N drove in silence, her mind swirling with anger and hurt. She needed space to clear her thoughts, away from Yakimano's accusations and pleas. As she checked into a nearby hotel, she felt a small sense of relief. She needed this time to herself, to process everything that had happened.Back at the house, Yakimano paced the living room, his emotions swinging wildly between regret and frustration. The longer he thought about Y/N leaving, the more his anger built. How could she just walk away? He had to talk to her, had to make her understand.
Grabbing his keys, he stormed out of the house, his mind set on one thing: finding Y/N. He knew where she might go, and he drove quickly, his thoughts racing. He couldn't let her leave him, not like this.
When he arrived at the hotel, he saw her car parked outside. His heart pounded in his chest as he marched inside, barely registering the concerned looks from the staff. He found her room number from the front desk under the pretense of being her husband, and with determined steps, he made his way to her door.
Y/N had just settled into her room, hoping for some peace, when a loud knock startled her. She hesitated, a sinking feeling in her stomach. The knock came again, more insistent this time. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door, only to be met with Yakimano's intense gaze.
Before she could react, he pushed past her, slamming the door shut behind him. "What the hell are you doing here?" she demanded, her voice shaking with anger and fear.
Yakimano ignored her question, his eyes dark and wild. "You left," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You just walked away."
"I needed time, Yakimano," she replied, her anger rising to match his. "You can't just barge in here!"
He moved closer, backing her up against the wall. "I can't lose you, Y/N," he growled, pinning her against the wall with his body. "Tell me what I need to do. Tell me how to make you stay."
She tried to push him away, but he was too strong. "This isn't the way to fix things," she said, her voice trembling. "You're scaring me."
His grip tightened, but his eyes softened slightly. "I'm sorry. I don't know what else to do. I can't think straight knowing you're gone."
"Yakimano, you're suffocating me," she said, her eyes filling with tears. "This isn't about you being scared. It's about trust. You broke it."
He loosened his hold, but didn't let her go. "I know, and I'll do anything to fix it. Just tell me what to do."
She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "You need to let me go. Give me the space I need to think."
His eyes searched hers, filled with desperation. "I can't. Not until I know you'll come back."
Y/N shook her head, tears spilling over. "Yakimano, you're not listening. If you love me, you'll respect my need for space."
He let out a frustrated growl, slamming his fist against the wall beside her head. "I love you too much to let you walk away."
She flinched but stood her ground. "This isn't love, Yakimano. This is control. And I won't be controlled."
His face crumpled, the anger giving way to a deep, aching sadness. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I'm just so scared of losing you."
She placed a hand on his chest, feeling his heart pounding beneath her palm. "You have to trust me. Trust that I'll come back if you give me the space I need."
Yakimano closed his eyes, leaning his forehead against hers. "Okay," he whispered. "I'll try."
Y/N gently pushed him back, needing to create some distance. "Go home, Yakimano. I need time to think. We both do."
He nodded, stepping away from her, his heart heavy with regret. "I'll be waiting," he said softly. "Take all the time you need."
She watched him go, her emotions a tangled mess. As the door closed behind him, she sank onto the bed, trying to calm the storm inside her. She loved Yakimano, but things had to change. She needed to be sure that their relationship was built on trust and respect, not fear and control.
Yakimano drove home, his mind filled with Y/N's words. He had to find a way to rebuild their trust, to show her that he could change. It wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to do whatever it took to win her back.
As the night wore on, both of them lay awake, their hearts heavy with the weight of their choices. The road ahead was uncertain, but one thing was clear: they would either emerge stronger from this trial or be torn apart forever.
