Thursday 5th July 2007, Stockholm, Sweden

"My tour was really successful, the cities I travelled through were packed, I'd just done my third show in Sweden and everyone was buzzing with my presence, which at that moment I felt really bigger than I thought I was, it was just incredible, this feeling of extra power, I was the celebrity of the moment so far, I was only 17 and I was just rocking it, and I also had more surprises when I was at the hotel and they knocked on my door."

Tomorrow I'm leaving here for Russia and to think that I'm already making a big splash wherever I go, in France it filled up more than I thought it would and everyone was shouting my name, everyone loved what I did, I simply made it big, in Germany it was the same, even here in Sweden, I can only imagine where things are going to escalate.
Here in the room with Croix I keep looking at her, we're eating, enjoying the afternoon to relax and rest with the best room service they have to offer, it's just marvellous, I can even tell by my girlfriend's expression that she's smiling, but in a way that she's planning something.

"Are you hiding something from me there, Croix?" I ask her and she shrugs her shoulders.

"It's no big deal, Chariot, I'm just having a laugh imagining things, you can rest easy" I try to, but I admit I'm curious to know.

"Hm, I'm very suspicious, you always look like that when you want to plan something, you even made a point of fiddling with your mobile phone for a while and smiled" I mean very suspicious.

"I went to talk to my mum, I'm the only person here who's decided to get an international SIM card, while you're just sitting there without the internet" I shrug.

"There's no point in being on the internet like this, what's so great about it? Apart from games and these social networks with my videos?" My girlfriend starts laughing.

"You really are a 50-year-old woman inside a teenage Chariot, the internet has it all, but anyway, I had an interesting chat, that's all" she said, until there were loud knocks on the doors.

I get up from my chair and go to the door that's being knocked on, as no one is answering. As I go to the door and open it, I see a film crew, I'm startled, a woman with a microphone, BBC symbols, what have they come here for? I'm a bit shocked, as they walk in I take a few steps back and sit down in an armchair and well, there must be some reason for all this.

"Good morning Chariot, we've come here to do an interview, as your partner told me you'd be up for it, so we're just preparing the set to start, but if you don't want to just cancel, we're from the BBC and this will be recorded, you don't have to worry it won't be live" Well I guess it can be.

"I'm ready for the interview, you can start whenever you want" I say, sitting down in the armchair.

"Don't you want to dress up in your familiar outfit or something?" I look at Croix and she seems to agree.

"Oh that's right, I just wanted to give the impression that I'm like everyone else, you could interview Chariot Du Nord instead of Shiny Chariot" she doesn't seem to like the idea very much.

"I think it'll sound much better if Shiny Chariot is the interviewee, the audience will like what she's going to show, so if it's too much to ask please change the outfit" Well, there's not much to do.

I get up from the armchair and go to my suitcase, where I take out one of my Shiny Chariot outfits, which I huff and puff, I didn't want to have to put these on, but well, it's part of the show, isn't it? I go to the bathroom in my hotel room and change into the Shiny Chariot costume.
Come on Chariot, don't look so down, it's your moment, they're going to see you on television, it's your first time on a British channel and this time a well-known one, I'm going to appear to millions of people and I'm going to be more famous than ever. Everything's been touched up, make-up, hair, I look just like I do in my shows. I'm walking back to the armchair and I can see that things have been arranged, positioned where the angle is favourable and there are lots of cameras, so now I just have to take a deep breath, sit down and get ready to start.
