Epilogue

Friday 19 June 2020, Dublin, Ireland

We're finally on holiday ready to leave for Dalystown, everyone's coming with us, I'm so excited, the girls have finally graduated, Diana, Akko, they've got their diplomas, they're going to get on with their lives, Croix got her sentence reduced to 5 years, she'll be released in 2023, after everything we've done, she'll still be able to go on this trip and stay a week in this place, we've convinced the witchcraft council to let her come on a trip like this, I'm really going to be excited to get out of here, I'm already finishing packing, I'm quite happy actually.
With my suitcases packed, I leave the room and go into the living room where I see everyone, they've all come together for this special date, even Daniella, I've been able to see her again, wow the weather really is marvellous after all.

"So is Chariot excited to go out?" My mum asks.

"I've been waiting for this day for many years, to be able to spend time with all of you, to see my friends again, to see my sisters, everyone together, it's going to be so good and fun" I say more excitedly.

"We waited until this year to do it since we're going to have everyone, after seeing these people graduate, I'm already very happy, Croix going free after the heroism she did to save the world from that disease" it really was one of the things that Croix is coming round to, she's becoming a better person every day, I can really give her another chance.

I walked to the car, putting my bags in, getting excited, now I'm the one driving this time, and I saw Croix arriving and she put her bags in too and smiled at me, we're going travelling together, something I've wanted to do for so long, me with her in the car, then Diana and Akko came too, also getting ready to leave in the same car as me, in the end everything fit and I closed the trunk and we looked at the others packing.

"Wow, I really missed going to Dalystown, it's going to be the first time we're all here together, the whole family, there'll be no-one missing, for the first time that house is going to be fuller than ever, Diana with us, even the twins have changed a lot" I say to them as I watch the others packing their things into the cars.

"It's going to be a one-off, to think that I could still be released in three years' time makes me very excited, I'll be able to leave my little corner here in Dublin to go wherever I want, which doesn't make that much difference, but it's freedom after all" And it'll be good for her to be free.

"Shall we go?" I go to the door of the car and start to get in and the girls follow me, and I adjust myself in the seat and sit down.

I'm very happy, I start the car, these things that have been happening lately have stopped me smoking and that's making me feel better, I feel more in the mood, a bit of that feeling from before, I don't need to pretend anything any more, I don't need to be Ursula any more, now Chariot Du Nord is back for good, it's going to be all happiness.
Everyone started to leave, we followed my mum with the car through the garage at home, wow it's going to be so nice to see how the new generation is going to spend their time in this place, we've never taken a trip there with the girls being young, or at least I wasn't.

"I'm really excited that this place you're talking about has so much history, I really hope it's something like that" said Diana.

"You have no idea, we've had a lot of fun in this cottage, it was always the place to be in the summer, I can assure you that the week is going to be very full of things" said Croix.

"I'm finally going on a family trip, getting to know more of the places Diana's mum used to go, if it's really going to be that kind of fun, then it's going to be great, I remember when we went to New York and then we travelled to Amanda's family's country house, it was so much fun there" Akko said.
