CYAN’S POV'
Today is my mom’s death anniversary. I woke up early and went to my secret place here in the cruise.
“Hi mom, good morning.” I greeted her through the necklace she gave me before she died. I put some piece of her ashes there so whenever I go, I’m not alone because she’s with me.
“There’s a little storm today.” added.
Since the day she left, I always feel alone. I have no one by my side since then. Ano ba’ng mapapala ko sa magaling kong ama na nag-asawa ulit just 6 freaking months after mom died.
I lay down the necklace on the table besides her picture. I took the apron and wear ‘em on.
I made some coffee, soup and a vegetable salad for Doreen. It’ll help her to lose her hangover. Besides, mom made them for us before, especially for my father when he drunk too much.
I sent them to Doreen. I left some soup for me and for my mom. It’s her specialty when the weather is cold.
After some hours waiting for the weather to calm I went outside even though it’s still raining. It’s not too heavy so I tour my mom. And I don’t think that the rain will stop though.
“Cyan!”
I turned around. It was Doreen. She’s holding an umbrella and walking towards me.
“Ginagawa mo? Alam na umuulan eh.” she said in a worried voice as she approaches me.
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed resting?” I asked her.
“Okay na ako. So, ano ba’ng ginagawa mo at nagpapa-ulan ka?” she asked again.
I just smiled. I hold my mom’s necklace that is in my neck.
“Touring my mom.” I said smiling and looked at the ocean. “Today is her death anniversary.”
I didn’t heard anything from her. But I slowly feel the rain pouring into my skin again. I looked where she’s smiling at me. Her umbrella where at the floor.
“Are you crazy?!”
I worriedly took the umbrella. Binuksan ko ito at pinayungan siya. Pero ano ba ang magagawa ko sa babaeng ’to? Matigas ang ulo n’ya.
Tumakbo lang ito palayo sa akin.
“Na miss kong maligo sa ulan.” she said playfully.
I just smiled. A memory flashes back.

“Don’t worry, it is safe. Look it’s fun!” she said while playing in the rain.
