--Evelyn's POV--

Lando and I walk with our arms linked down the street as Kyla jumps around with a pretzel in her hand. We decided to ditch Max's party a few hours after our little adventure in the bathroom. Charles never made a move so I wanted to make it up to her with food, "What if we just never got sober again? I think so much clearer," She says as she turns around and waits for Lando and me to catch up.

"I think that's alcoholism, mate," Lando says as she takes a dramatic bite of the doughy pretzel.

"Evie, we are literally walking down the street with Lando Norris....life is crazy," She says as she puts her arm around him and gives him a noogie. Lando giggles as he breaks from her grip and runs ahead.

"She's way stronger than she looks," he says surprised. He walks backward into someone and he turns around to apologize but then he recognizes it's Charles. He turns around and that's when we realize we walked into a giant circle after getting the food.

"I'm a little offended you guys didn't say goodbye. I was looking for you everywhere," he says as Lando jumps onto his back unprovoked making them almost tip over, "Oui," he yells grabbing Lando's legs so he doesn't fall off him.

I look at Kyla and see the happy drunk look on her face gone as she looks at him, "You ready to head home?" I ask her but she shakes her head. This is both of our favorite parts of the night. We love a good debrief session.

"What are you guys doing?" He asks looking mainly at Kyla.

"No idea. We were just walking around," I tell him as he spins around. Lando's smiling behind his head makes me lose it as Kyla joins in. A small group of people walk out from the party and give us all a weird look before waving goodbye to the guys. They must work for Red Bull.

Charles looks at the door of the venue and Lando starts pulling his hair like he is Remy from Ratatouille. Charles shakes his head and walks inside. We follow after him and there are a lot fewer people than before. It's almost three am so that makes sense. It's mostly just the drivers now. Carlos gives the pair an amused smile as the two guys walk over to him. Kyla seems to have sobered up a lot so we grab some water from the bar.

A hand goes onto my shoulder and I turn around to see George, "I lost my sunglasses," he says as I look up and see them sitting on his head. I reach up and push them down and he smiles before walking out the door with his teammate Lewis. That guy scares me because he seems perfect and the thought of talking to him would leave me a bumbling mess. That's how I was with most of the drivers to be fair.

We walk over to the guys and listen to their conversation as the music starts playing again, "I am ready for bed," Carlos says as he looks at his phone, "You are all babies I can't keep up anymore," He says as we all laugh knowing he's barely older than us. I guess 24 and 29 are kind of a gap but not really.

"But we just got back," Lando says as he terribly dances to the music, "Evelyn was going on and on about how much she wants to dance with the smooth operator," he says as I widen my eyes laughing at how ridiculous he is. Carlos smirks and holds his hand out as the music continues playing throughout the venue.

I happily take his hand and he spins me around making me gasp as I place my hands on his chest, "Is this why your nickname is Chili?" I ask as he leads the dance. I smile when I see Carlos asking Kyla to dance behind his head and Lando is jumping up and down in his spot. The song is coming to an end and Carlos moves us closer to Lando so he can step in. He waves goodnight to everyone as the four of us move to the beat.

"Have you had a good night?" He asks as I lazily wrap my arms around his neck and sway to the music. I nod my head with a light smile as he pulls me closer so my head is resting on his chest. We look ridiculous slow dancing to club music but it feels right. Everything with him feels right and I hate it, "Why are we doing this to ourselves?" he whispers as I let out a small puff of air mixed with laughter and fear of getting hurt.

"Cause we are both dumb. We learned that when we played trivia with everyone," I tell him as he nods his head remembering our scarily low score. The bar owner didn't think a score could get so low, especially when a category was labeled basic knowledge, "Remember when you texted me about your birthday and how you're not doing anything," I mention.

He nods his head with a skeptical look on his face, "Please tell me you aren't planning anything," he says as I try to hide the smile growing on my face.

"Just be free the day after you get home and meet me at the apartment at seven pm," I smirk as he narrows his eyes.

"Should I be scared?" he asks. I shrug my shoulders, pull away from his arms, and dance towards the other two. He watches as I twirl Kyla around and Charles takes her arm from me as he pulls her back in, "You guys ready to go home?" he asks as more and more people start walking out of the club. I look back at Kyla and she nods her head.

"I'm so excited to go home and shower and wake up with nothing to do," I brag knowing Lando has to go to McLaren tomorrow for some car shit, "Do you want to stay at our place tonight? I know it's closer and you left some sweats," I tell him.

"As a friend though right?" He asks making fun of me. I push him away from me and get into the passenger seat waiting for Charles and Kyla to say goodbye. I have to hide my expression as he leans down and kisses her. Lando pushes my thigh so I look away and stop being a creep.

"Tonight has just been a great night," I giggle as Kyla turns back to us blushing.
