A/N: Hi! So, I am so, so sorry for not updating for like a month. . . I don't rlly hv an excuse but anyway. . . I feel like I've written this chapter before, but I'll believe wattpad, and presume that I haven't. Also, thank you SO MUCH for 1.4k VIEWS!!! So, you've all waited long enough, here's the chapter:
Winter POV:
Thoughts were rushing through my head.
Why are you even sad? I mean, no one is exactly going to mourn you are they? No one loves you, and you pushed away the one dragon that did.
But, I might die!
But, no one cares.
All of a sudden, the air stopped rushing around me and the ground stopped getting closer.
And I stopped falling.
Well, I was still falling, but slower than before. I looked up to see Qibli. He was gripping my tail in his talons, and slowing my fall, but he was clearly struggling to hold my weight.
"Qibli?!" I asked in shock. I'd have thought that he'd want nothing to do with me now. He just shot me a small smile, before lowering me to the ground. As soon as he landed, he staggered around a bit, before collapsing into a tree trunk. I rushed over to see if he was okay. As I got closer, I noticed a pool of blood around his talons, and I lifted them up gently. There were deep gashes on his palms, and that was when I realised- he had held my tail. My tail spikes.
I felt tears prick my eyes, and I dropped his talon.
"I am so, so sorry Qibli, I-" I sighed, "I do love you."
But, I don't think he heard me.
