A/N: Ik, I haven't updated in about a month, I'm so sorry, but I didn't have a plan for this chapter, so I'm kind of just going with whatever. Soz, Winter isn't on the drawing, cuz I drew Qibli and then I didn't feel like drawing Winter, so yeah. Perhaps Winter will get to be at the top of the next chapter. Anyways, thank you so much for 2.5k views, that is literally INCREDIBLE! Also, I'm hoping to write another 9 chapters, just so u know! And now I shall get on with the story. Hv a nice day/night/whatever!
Qibli POV:
It had been a few weeks since Winter had nearly fallen to his death and I'd saved him. He wasn't speaking to me. At all. He barely even glanced in my direction unless he had to. I HATED not talking to him, but it was probably for the best. If he didn't want to speak to me then I wouldn't force him to.
"Hi Qibli!" Moon's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Oh. Hi," I muttered disinterestedly, continuing to walk along the hallway as I didn't want to start a conversation.
"What's wrong? You seem more miserable than usual," she remarked, standing in front of me to stop me walking away.
"D-Do I?! I'm f-fine, really. I was just thinking," I stammered, forcing a smile onto my face.
"Hmm," she mused, "thinking about what? Winter?"
"I. . ." I trailed off. She smirked. "Hey! Don't look at me like that! You better not have found a way to read my mind again!"
"You're not denying it then?" She commented, looking like she was thoroughly enjoying this chat.
I glared at her. Just as I was about to speak she interrupted me. "Follow me," she walked off, not even checking if I was following her (I did by the way). She led me to a sheltered spot outside that was surrounded by trees. "What's the point of coming here?" I asked irritably. She rolled her eyes at me. "There are no other dragons here."
"So?"
"So you can talk to me about you and Winter. Don't pretend there's nothing going on. It doesn't take a genius to see that you're not talking to each other right now."
"That's none of your business," I snapped.
"It may not be any of my business, but I think you need to talk to someone about it. Plus, now you've snapped at me I'm intrigued"
"If I give you a bit of context will you be un-intrigued enough to let me go for my music lesson?" I asked pointedly.
"Sure."
"We kinda argued over. . . Something and err. . . Now he isn't talking to me. At all." I explained. A rather short explanation, I know, but I wasn't planning on telling her a lot.
"Do you want him to be talking to you?" She questioned.
"Uh. . . Yes?"
"Hmm. Okay. Well, you better be going to your music lesson, I wouldn't want you to be late." She smiled at me.
"Okay? I'm already late you know," I muttered wryly. Either she didn't hear me or chose to ignore me, because she turned around, said "bye!" And walked off.
"Bye?" I called after her, puzzled.
Well, that music lesson won't take itself. I thought, before walking off towards the history cave.
