Lilla looked at Taha with a worried expression on her face, as he hesitated a moment before picking his way across the broken glass to the door. He opened the door only a crack, and found Rose and Steven from next door standing outside on their doorstep.
"Are you alright?" Inquired Rose, "It's just that we heard some shouting and loud crashes coming from your house." Said Rose, sounding genuinely concerned.
"Yes, we're fine," Lied Taha, "Mum just dropped some pans, that's all." He created.
"Hmm," Said Rose, not entirely convinced, but she didn't want to intrude, "well, if you're sure, but just give us a call if you need anything, OK?" She Asked.
"Yes, OK." Taha answered with a fake smile as he closed the door.
