After Jessie left for the airport Rose came up to Lilla's bedroom to talk.
"Lilla."
"Yes Rose?"
"I think, well, I know you can't walk, you're too weak still, but I think it would be good for you to go back to school. I think your walking is more of a shock thing really, you'll be able to walk with time, but you can use the wheel chair. When Jessie comes back we'll see if we can get you to school again. Okay?" Rose explained.
"Um, okay." Lilla said worriedly. She didn't want to go back to school and face Gemma and Betty, especially not in a wheelchair.
Lilla spent the next 2 weeks missing Jessie and Taha and worrying about going to school. She wanted Jessie to come back soon, but the sooner Jessie came back the sooner Lilla had to go to school. It was like a vicious circle.
Soon enough though, Jessie did come back, and Lilla had to go to school.
