2 days later and Rose had talked to Lilla's Mum and sorted out for Lilla to stay with her during the summer holidays which were in two weeks.
Jessie came back to the house one night with a woman who she introduced to Lilla when she came into the bedroom.
"Lilla, this is Paula. She's my . . . friend . . . so, yeah, good." She gave a reassuring smile to Paula.
"Hi." Paula said with a smile.
"Hiya, I'm Lilla." Lilla said as she shook Paula's hand. "Oh, and, Jessie, Rose said something about you being able to keep an eye on me while I'm at Mum's?" She inquired.
"Oh yeah, That's where my sister Rachel lives, so we can ask her to look out for you while you're at that town." Jessie explained.
