...I shook my head.

In the end I guess you can't really completely lose your feelings for your first love.

Even after all he's done to you and your family.

"So... We have no idea where he is, and we just wait for him to return, if he ever will. Correct?" I asked.

The others slowly nodded in agreement.

Another death. The gamemaker's cannon signaled another death.

Then another.

And another.

3 deaths in less than 20 seconds.

"...You guys...." I trailed off.

"...Heard it too, right?..." Karina finished.

"Those many kills.... If they were from 1 person or multiple people... It means we have to be careful... They might set a trap for us anywhere..." Ryan said.

"ANNOUNCEMENT!" A booming, echoing, monotone voice surrounded us. I recognized it. It was one of the gamemaker's.

"A TRIBUTE HAS TURNED AGAINST IT'S OWN TEAMMATES, MURDERING THEM VIGOROUSLY." I shuddered. "TAKE CAUTION." I looked around at my friends, and found them looking right back at me.

Could I trust my team?

Or were the game makers just stirring up another lie to get us to hurry and kill eachother?
