The two wicked sister-in-laws scrunch their noses and scoff at her audacity to walk out of the aisle holding her husband's hand. "Did you see that? How egoistic and cunning is your sister? The moment she got a rich husband she forgot about us. She dared to humiliate us in front of so many people", Ashmita snarls.
"Yes, that ungrateful bitch dared to insult us, forgetting because of us she got that rich old man. I told you before also just throw her out of the house and leave her to die on the streets. But you didn't hear me.. and see how in seconds her demeanour changed toward us", Kavita, the younger sister-in-law, sneered. While her brother's fumes in rage and parents just stood there silent, hearing those disdaining words for their daughter.
Twitching their lips in ego Ashmita and Kavita holding their husbands starts dragging them. "I can't take more embarrassment. Let's leave", they mumbled. And with their head hung low, her parents followed them behind bidding bye to Rajveer's parents, having no other option.

On the other hand, Rajveer's step sister, Damini, stomping her feet in dismay walks to her room with a scowl. She was displeased by Rajveer's wedding as it occurred in a single day without any wait for her to get it filled with misunderstanding or her added spices in their sacred relationship.
She hates her brother from the depth of her heart and seeing him smiling today after years, made her burn in fury. Throwing the jewellery off her body over the bed mattress she dials a number. And after a few rings that person finally answers it.
"Where the hell are you? Why weren't you answering my call, huh?", she yells. And on the other side, the person on call was lying naked on his bed getting on his ass draping the bedsheets well around his waist.
"What happened mom? Why are you screaming? I was just sleeping... What's wrong?", he asks nonchalantly, still engulfed in sleep. "What happened? Haahaa....", his mother starts laughing and he frowns deeply.
"Your dear step uncle... out of the blue got married today with some middle class girl. And soon he will give this family a child to inherit his properties. While you, my dear child, will be left sleeping with whores?", she informs and he gasps hysterically.
His sleep runs away from his eyes and he screams, "What the fudge?? How? When?" His girlfriend sleeping beside him groans hearing his loud voice and he quickly hushes his voice getting out of bed.

"Can't you hear..? Today!", she yells and takes a deep breath before continuing.
"He planned everything on its own without letting even a soul know about it. And last night just sent a WhatsApp invitation to everyone, written, 'It's his wedding today'." She informs and he holds his head in his hands cursing under his breath.
"What?", he gasps in disbelief.
"Leave all this. I want to leave for home now. I don't care where and with whom you are enjoying it. Just come home before the reception party starts. Or else you'll see my wrath", she deadpans.
"Fine mom. Yes I'm getting you. Don't worry I'm coming", he says and cuts the call while she throws her phone on bed and seethes in rage. _______
While few were burning in jealousy and anger throwing fits around with this Unexpected Marriage few were genuinely happy. Rajveer's mother was more than happy to find such a beautiful daughter-in-law and see her son get finally settled. It was more than a fortune news to her which embarked so suddenly but whatever happened makes her content.
“Oh.. my god. Finally my most handsome and gem like son got married. I'm so happy”, she squeals and her husband chuckles at her. “Mrs. Singhania, I know you are too happy. But let's express it later and first welcome our children. They already left for home”, he says and she bit her tongue, and quickly ushered him to go.
The marriage occurred in the banquet area of the palace and Rajveer taking her from the main gate of the hall, gets her to sit in the car though the distance to the living area of the palace was just a few minutes. But as she is a new bride she should have the honour to get the liability for today. Her in-laws walk through the inside passage and reach the staying part. Maids were standing with a copper plate having vermillion dissolved in water, another one having turmeric paste, and the third one having a brass pot having rice grains, raw turmeric stick, and a silver coin with a holy thread tied on the pot neck. Seeing Rajveer's mother, Rajni, the head maid came with a prayer plate of gold to perform the welcome ceremony.
When Ahana arrived with her husband holding her hand for support, sending a warmth of a known feeling. He made her feel safe and comfortable from inside and she unknowingly seeks solace in his presence. Her mother-in-law with a grinning smile performs the aarti and asks her to dip her hand in turmeric paste and take its imprint in a white cloth with her husband's print as well. She then asks her to kick the brass pot lightly with her leg and then dipping in the vermillion liquid water walk on the white cloth. She then engulfs Ahana in a warm hug sending her warmth and love.
“Dear, from now on I promise to be your mother as well and treat you like my own daughter. I'll try my best to give you so much affection that you'll never miss your own mother”, she excitedly chimes and tilting her head slightly she looks upon Rajni with tears welling in her eyes.
“I really hope you don't be like my mother. But the mother I wish for. And about missing them, I wish I never do that”, she mutters in her head with a hopeful wish.
“Did you forget me? She is my daughter as well now. And I'll love her equally”, Rajveer's dad, Veer, murmurs and his mom giggles. “Dear if our son ever troubles you or anything happens in your life making you feel alone. Just come to me. I promise to never let any tear come in your eyes”, he says giving blessing to her and a lone tear escapes her eyes.
“It seems like though I lost my own family, I'm not an orphan. I got a new family in respect to this marriage”, she mumbles to herself and flashes a soft smile.
“Aruna, please take my daughter in law to her room. We will do the rest of the rituals tomorrow. I am sure she is exhausted already”, she orders one of the servants and they noddingly take her to the room. “Go dear.. I'll send both of your dinners to the room”, she says and Ahana nods.
“No... mom. I have something to be taken care of. Let her eat, I'll have it later”, Rajveer replies nonchalantly and dashes off making Rajni gasp and his father pats her shoulder while Ahana pouts at his words.
So rude. Hmph..
Going to her room she makes herself comfortable and first devours into the food as the maids serve her and leaves. She was so hungry from morning after not having anything but a glass of juice and water that even when her engagement was done. And now it's almost about to be 12 am at night. When she was done feeding her stomach to its fullest, her eyes fell over the room and she gasped at its beauty. It was so big and amazing that she was awestruck seeing it but before she could live in the moment someone knocked at the door and she peers her lashes up.
Rajni was standing there with a maid asking if she needed something and she shook her head in no, rising on her feets. “Dear feel yourself comfortable here and if you need anything just call any of the servants. They'll be there for your service. Plus, I know today is your first wedding night and he is still giving importance to work. But don't worry I have sent someone to call Rajveer, he must be coming soon”, she informs and patting her cheeks left. While Ahana gasping in horror stares at the door with a flushed face.
First wedding night??? Shit…. What will I do?
And just as she was contemplating, she heard some approaching footsteps with a clicking sound of shoes heel. Her body goes numb and sweat beads start forming over her forehead while her heart shivers in fear.
