Wearing a peach pink suit with the net dupatta Ahana matches her outfit with a pretty silver jhumka with the diamond stud in top and small balls of pearls in the bottom tugged. She does a pony tail keeping her look sweet and simple but still manages to make Rajveer's heart skip a beat. He couldn't take his eyes off of her as he entered the room dressing up in a fitting black kurta and salwar.
"Ahm... Someone is looking dashing today!", a chirpy compliment breaks his trance.
A shy smile adorns his lips finding her looking back at him with admiration.
"How am I looking?", she asks, jumping at her place. "Am I overdressed?", she asks with a pouty lips.
Rajveer gulps.
"No... You look like an ethereal beauty", he murmurs lowly caught in her beauty.
"Did you say something?", she asks, seeing his lips move.
"You look perfect!", he says. "Just leave your hair open and it will add to your beauty", he adds.
Heat rushes to Ahana's cheeks turning them in a cute reddish pink shade. Unable to hide the curling smile on the corner of her lips she turns her back to Rajveer only for him to have his breath hitched.
Holy Mother ...!!!
The dress she was wearing was backless from behind having mere two knots giving a nice wide view of her back. Rajveer's heart accelerated with the kicking adrenaline rush, thanking his angels in advance to suggest her hairstyle.
"You'll be my death, little wifey!", he exclaims.
After a minimal touch up and one last glamce on the mirror Ahana announces that she is ready. Rajveer smiles and follows her behind as they make their way out.

Few hours later
"R-Rajjj-v-veer...rrr..!!!!"
A throat scratching scream escapes Ahana's lips. Tears river down her eyes as if the black heavy clouds bump into each other and burst up. She takes his face on his lap and pats his cold cheeks. While Sati runs toward the car to call the guards for help.
"Rajveer... Please stay awake!", she panics seeing his closing eyes.
Blood is oozing out of his body furiously. "Someone please help....!", she pleads looking around but no one helps, and just stares at them with a pity face.
"Oh my God!!!!! What should I do?", she cries pressing his head wound with her handkerchief.
"Ahana, the help is coming", Sati says walking to her speedily.

It's been 16 hours since Rajveer has been lying unconscious. The doctors and nurses were constantly monitoring him. Waiting for him to move, lift a finger, or eyelashes.
His parents who were supposed to surprise their children were themselves caught in surprise seeing their condition. Rajveer was not opening his eyes while Ahana was deeply traumatized by the situation. She has barely eaten anything or spoken with anyone since last night, sitting idle in the downstairs room alone all day.
"Beta, please thoda sa kuch khalo. Main janti hu tum seham gayi ho in sab se par khudko yunh saza nah do", Rajni pleads, caressing her head.
"Kya unko hosh aya?", she asks that one mere question again and Rajni goes silent.
"Phir main kaise kha sakti hu?", Ahana glances up at her.
Her tear filled glossy eyes swells Rajni's heart and she feels pity for the poor soul.
"Sab meri wajah se hua hai! Meri galti thi maa..", Ahana breaks in tears again hugging Rajni's legs.
"Nai beta, aisa nahi hai!", she tries to console, wiping her tears. "Meri hi hai... Maine zidd ki thi", she cuts her off.
"Unko bohot mara unn gundo ne. Har taraf khoon tha, har taraf laal gehra khoon tha unka", she says between her cries as that image appears in front of her eyes.
Her body and soul were still trembling with that heart wrenching incident. Meanwhile, seeing her Rajni was silently weeping in agony. She was helpless, drenched in the same pain as hers.
"Unko kuch hoga toh nai nah? Woh mujhe chhodke nai jayenge na!", Ahana asks staring up at her.
"No, ...never!", she responds with a negative nod though she is unsure and Ahana hugs her tightly, bursting in tears.

Those 72 hours were crucial for Rajveer as he had a major blood loss with deep wounds due to the glass bottle piercing his skin. Veer didn't even move from his son's room after seeing him in such condition. Sleep and appetite to eat was far gone from him.
His one and only son was lying pale on bed with his chapped dry lips. His body which was slightly yellow after the blood loss was slowly accepting the blood of him along with few IV drips.
"Sir, your son's body finally seems to react positively. He can open his eyes any moment", the doctor finally says something which his ears were dying to hear.
He wipes his moist eyes and sits beside his son holding his cold hands in his.
"Just get up already my son. You have scared us till death", he whispers, with hopeful gleaming eyes.

Waiting for his son to get up, Veer's eyes drown in sleep with a relief that his son was out of danger. The doctors also went to rest in another room while a nurse sat on the sofa, looking after Rajveer and Veer.
Veer's blood pressure was high from last night but now it seems to come in control.
"Is he awake?", a soft voice from the door grabs the nurse's attention. "No, but he can be soon", the nurse replies with a soft smile.
Ahana wipes her tears away as she walks to Rajveer's bed, carrying a faint smile on her lips with the news.
She goes on her knees beside Rajveer, her hand caressing his left arm carefully as the IV drip was still there. "I'm sorry, Rajveer. I'm really sorry for asking you to take me there. It's all my fault", she mumbles as a tear rolls down the corner of her eyes.
"Please get up!", she says, lowering her gaze. "I can't see you in this misery anymore", she adds, as tears make their way down her cheeks.
"I miss you!", she blurts subconsciously.
Rajni was witnessing this with the nurse from far as their eyes got heavy as well.
They could see how Ahana was churning up in this turmoil of pain and agony. Her face was pale and eyes swollen with her foot bleeding a little on the cut mark.
Begging for the almighty to finally spare some mercy on her, she cried her heart out. Though her body's every ounce was trembling like a dry leaf in winter, after starving herself as if asking for death to grace her, she cried harder. Her throat barely supported her to cry loud, burning from inside and itchy as if thorns laid down.
"She needs IV drip, and rest", the nurses inform. "Your daughter in law won't survive like this for long", she adds with seriousness to Rajni seeing her pathetic state.
Rajni nods, agreeing with the nurse when her eyes seems to notice a miracle she was awaiting for.
"Rajveer.... Nurse-- Doctor!!!", Rajni calls as his son blinks twice making every face lit up.
