*Few days passed*

Rajveer has subconsciously started doing everything that Ahana likes. He reads her thoroughly in and out through her expressions and body language. He has started stealing glances of her every now and then and clicks random pictures of her. He dresses after her, trying to twin with her which she was unable to notice.

For her she was starting to search for a friend in him with whom she can just simply sit and let the silence take over yet feel peaceful. Her unsaid words and his little gestures without even her asking made her at ease. She likes it when she takes a walk in the garden and Rajveer walks beside her. She loves the way he have breakfast with her on terrace or lawn with a bunch of foods but now he somehow got to know about her favourites seeing her choose few things the most.

Rajveer has got a new relaxing chair in the library as she loves to spend her time there. It is remote control one which helps one person to lean, sit and lay down comfortably.

Sati always asks for her preference of food items while Rajveer just agrees to it. He slowly started making notes of all her dislikes while she was still unaware of the fact he was slowly melting for her with love bubbles.

Will she realise it soon?

=================================

Ahana was sitting at the terrace enjoying the view of a peacock walking through the lawn in the far end with its partner.

She was having a mug of tea with a smile tugged on her face as she adorably watched them and took photos. Smiling she sends them to her mother-in-law only to find her video calling.

"Hi Maa", she chimes.

"Hi, Mera Beta!", Shalini replies. "Someone is having a good time there. Ain't it?", she says with a pout and Ahana laughs before nodding in yes.

"You know Veer just left for a boring meeting for two days and Damini you know she doesn't like to interact much. So, now I'm all alone and bored", she informs and Ahana straightens her back.

"Oh, that's really bad", she empathizes. "How about you come here? We both can enjoy together. Will have lots of fun!", she exclaims, her eyes sparkling.

"Aww... my cute baby", Shalini feels awe with her thoughts. "I would love to. Par mujhe kebab main haddi nai Banna hai", she replies making Ahana frown a little.

"Konsa, kebab main haddi? Mai bhi toh yahan akeli hu, bore ho rhi hu, baki sab busy hai apne kamo mein", she retorts, I'm defence.

"Busy? Is your idiot husband working there instead of spending time with you", she asks, feeling pumped a bit.

"No... No... You are getting me wrong", she puts a stop to Shalini's anger. "He is very caring and tries to be around me only but I don't like to pesture him always. I want you, you come nah", she says, whinning like a child of two years.

Shalini laughs at her acting and assures she will visit her soon in few days and the they'll have lots of fun together but before that she has to hear her husband. Ahana agrees to it and they start talking about here and there topics when Shalini asks what's cooking for today.

"Kadhi Pakoda and Jeera Chaval with pumpkin sabji."

"Pumpkin ki Sabji? Rajveer ko pata hai?", she asks with shock at her face.

"Haan, unke samne hi bataya tha Sati tha aur unse pucha bhi tha. Kyun?", she replies naively making Shalini astonished.

"Nothing. It's just my son doesn't likes the pumpkin sabji as it's sweet a bit and little bit moist", she informs and Ahana squints her eyes in confusion.

Before she could ask her another question Shalini had to cut the call as Veer called her and Ahana bids her bye.

If he doesn't likes it why didn't he tell me? Strange!

=================================

At the lunch table, the food gets served at the table in the copper plates and bowls. Ahana keenly stares at Rajveer noticing his facial expression as Sati serves pumpkin sabji in his plate. Ahana pretends to not know anything and takes a morsel bite. While Rajveer simply stares at his plate for some good minutes before starting with everything else.

"What happened? Taste that sabji as well no, it's so tasty", she utters, testing him.

Rajveer forces a smile and hesitantly reaches out for it. His subconscious cursing as he tries to get himself prepared to eat something he doesn't want.

Love really makes you dumb and blind!, his subconscious mocks.

"Sati...", Ahana calls. "Take this away and get him some tomato chutney with pickle and for me as well", she utters while Rajveer looks at her with confusion.

"What? I know you don't like it. Mom told me. But I'm upset at you", she adds, glaring at him.

"Umh-- why?", he asks, nervously.

"Because you didn't bother to tell me. I thought we were slowly being friends", she says and something inside him aches a bit.

"I'm sorry!", he mumbles.

"Only on one condition", she chimes and he raises his brows at her. "You'll take me out today, I heard there's some fair going on in the town", she continues and Rajveer smiles.

"Done."

Lunch was filled with small talks for a change as Ahana was finally enough comfortable to let her bubbly personality out infront of him. Rajveer kept on smiling and staring at her with adorable eyes as she rants how she used to bunk the college and go in local small fairs with her friends and have loads of fun.

The excitement in her eyes made him excited as it would be the first time he would be attending the fair. He asked Sati to join with the as standing at the corner she seemed equally excited and happy.

"But Raja sa, it's just a local fair of tribals. I think you should not go there", Gyatri interrupts. "It's not a good idea", she adds taking a step forward.

"It's Amna, I can manage, you don't worry", Rajveer says, dismissing her concern.

"My wife has asked something from me for the first time. And me not fulfilling the wish would look like I'm disrespecting her", he states and Gyatri shuts off knowing very well now there's no point to say anything further.

Meanwhile, Ahana had a tickling sensation over her tummy hearing him. She felt blissful for some foreign reasons when he stated that his wife wish should be fulfilled. And his eyes spit sincerity through it.

"You always amaze with him", she mutters internally before continuing to eat.
