It was early in the morning when our three super soldiers got to their destination for their early morning run. It was so early in fact, the sun wasn't even up.
"Someone want to remind me again why we agreed to run this early in the morning?" AJ asked his brother and sister figures as they stretched.
"Because it's a good way to start your day." Steve responded.
"But do we have to do it this early?" He asked.
"What? Is Belova gonna be mad she didn't wake up with you next to her this morning?" Becca teased making AJ roll his eyes.
"I'm not hearing you deny it." Steve joined in on the teasing.
"You two are the worst." AJ replied as he got up from stretching as he began his run. "Keep up, old timers."
"He did not just call us old." Becca asked in disbelief.
"He did." Steve said shaking his head. "Let's go catch the little bastard." He said as Steve and Becca took off running after their friend.
. . .
Sam Wilson jogged at a steady pace as he was also out on an early morning run. He made it to the southeast inlet bridge at the lower edge of the Tidal Basin. He heard footsteps behind him and the runner sprinted by Sam's right shoulder.

"On your right." AJ Watson breathed out and continued running.
He heard two more sets of footsteps that were also rapidly approaching.
"On your left." Steve Rogers breathed out chasing after his friend.
"On your right." Becca Barnes breathed out passing the man as she followed her friend in chasing their youngest member.
Sam kept jogging, reaching the front of the Jefferson Memorial. AJ Watson, Steve Rogers, and Becca Barnes once again passed him.
"On your right."
"On your left."
"On your right."
"Uh-huh. On my right, left, and right. Got it."
Sam let out a sigh as AJ heard it and chuckled to himself.
Sam kept his same pace and reached the east side of the reflecting pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. The super soldiers were ready to pass Sam Wilson once again as they all shared a smirk and a nod.
