They deactivated their time travel suits, with Tony holding the briefcase containing the Tesseract, Rocket having the Aether, Scott holding the scepter, Bruce holding the Time Stone, and Rhodey had the Power Stone.
"Did we get 'em all?" Bruce asked.
Yelena was giggling drunkenly at the feeling of traveling through time.
"Are you telling me this actually worked?" Rhodey said with a smile.
"I lifted the magical hammer thingy!" Yelena uttered while giggling and having the hiccups. She lifted her arms in the air in triumph for lifting Mjölnir.
"She had the alcohol on Asgard, didn't she?" Natasha asked looking at Clint.
"Oh yeah, big time." Clint responded.
Nearby, Becca dropped to her knees, She had the Soul Stone in her palm, and beside her was AJ who had just collapsed onto his back. The team looked at the duo concerned, and the look Becca had before their expressions changed upon realizing Pietro didn't return with everyone else.
"Rhodes, where's Maximoff?" Steve asked.
"He... He didn't go with me and Nebula." He replied and looked at Becca and AJ.
Neither Becca or AJ responded, Becca looked down at the floor while AJ was looking up at the ceiling. Natasha and Yelena stared at them, not wanting to believe that a fateful audible was called.
"Детка" They called out, but they still weren't responding.
AJ finally moved to a sitting position and shook his head. His expression told everyone all they needed to know. Yelena sobered up instantly and slowly approached her husband. When she got to him, she wrapped her arms around him as he cried into her shoulder. Natasha had done the same thing for her wife.
The rest of the team looked down in despair who all felt the loss of the Maximoff twin.
"You had alcohol from Asgard didn't you?" AJ asked Yelena with his head still buried in her neck.
"Are you mad?" She asked quietly, but it was still slurred slightly.
"I can never be mad at you, кукла." (Doll.) AJ replied kissing his wife's shoulder. "Did you at least bring some back?"
"Of course I did." She replied before kissing AJ's shoulder as well.
"I love you, Yelena." AJ said before he broke down again. "I'm so sorry."
"Hey, shhh, shhh. It's okay." Yelena replied softly. "I love you too, AJ. You don't have to apologize."
"I almost broke our deal..."
Yelena's breathing hitched when she heard that AJ almost didn't come home to her or their girls. She started to tear up, but she stayed strong for her partner.
"We'll talk about it later Детка." She kissed his head and pulled him closer to her chest so he could hear her heart beat. "The only thing that matters is that you came home to me... To us."

The team were down at the dock that overlooked the lake. Everyone was still saddened and in shock at the loss of the speedster, Pietro Maximoff. AJ leaned against one of the pillars as he had his arms crossed and looked out over the lake.
