The Avengers were present on a call with their leaders, Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. The sisters stood behind their desks with Natasha cutting into her sandwich and Yelena stirring her macaroni. The two listened to what the rest of the team had to say. AJ and Becca weren't present as they told their wives that they had important business to take care of with the kids. Neither of them knew what that meant, but they didn't question the super soldiers.
"Yeah, we boarded that highly-suspect warship Danvers pinged." Rocket started.
"It was an infectious garbage scow." Nebula interjected forcing Yelena to hold in her laughter.
Rocket's hologram turned to Carol's hologram. "So, thanks for the hot tip."
"Well, you were closer." Carol replied as she defended herself.
"Yeah. And now we smell like garbage."
That was it for Yelena as she broke out into hysterical laughter forcing everybody to look over at her.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That was really funny to me." Yelena said once she stopped laughing.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up blondie." Rocket scoffed.
Natasha decided to get the meeting back on track, so she leaned over the table. "You get a reading on those tremors?"
Okoye was the one to respond. "'Twas a mid subduction under the African plate."
"Do we have a visual? How are we handling it?"
"Nat. It's an earthquake under the ocean. We handle it by not handling it."
Yelena looked over at Natasha and smirked causing Nat to roll her eyes. Yelena turned back to the team and spoke to Carol.
"Carol, are we seeing you here next month?"
"Not likely."
"What? You gonna get another haircut?" Rocket asked.
"Listen, fur face. I'm covering a lot of territory. The things happening on Earth are happening everywhere. On thousands of planets."
Rocket looked down, knowing she was right. "All right, all right. That's a good point. That's a good point."
"We appreciate everything you've done, Danvers." Natasha spoke up. "We hope to see you soon."
After a beat, Natasha spoke again.
"All right. Well, this channel is always active. So, if anything goes sideways... Anyone's making trouble where they shouldn't... Comes through us."
The team collectively agreed before signing off. Natasha and Yelena didn't miss the look and nod Carol gave to Rhodey before she signed off. Rhodey however, stayed on the line as Natasha and Yelena sat back down.
