The three friends were sitting in silence until Bucky decided to speak up.
"What's gonna happen to your friends?" He asked.
"Whatever it is... We'll deal with it." Steve replied glancing over his shoulder.
"I don't know if I'm worth all this."
"Buck, what you did all those years... It wasn't you." AJ replied looking back. "You didn't have a choice." He said softly.
"I know. But I did it." Bucky said with his tone laced with regret and sadness.
"Adds, how's Yelena?" Steve asked steering the conversation away from Bucky's time as the Winter Soldier.
"She's um.... She's ok. She can stand and walk. She can use her arms, so that's good." AJ rambled slightly as he let a lone tear fall from his eye. "Wanda could have paralyzed her Steve, or worse, killed her. What she did... I don't think I can ever forgive." AJ admitted as his voice slightly broke.
"She's gonna be okay, Addi." Steve said softly as he put his hand on AJ's shoulder. AJ wiped away a few more tears that fell from his eyes and focused on flying the jet to keep himself distracted.

After Ross arrested the remaining members of Cap and AJ's team, he sent them to the Raft. Iron Man's team were back in the compound, Rhodey was being evaluated. Yelena got an MRI on her back as well and was given the all clear which made Natasha and Becca relieved. They were beyond pissed at what Wanda did to Yelena, she could have paralyzed her or worse, killed her.
After Tony questioned Vision, he walked out of the medical bay and saw Natasha and Yelena with Becca by the handrail looking out at the lawn.
Tony, wearing an arm-sling, walked up to them and filled the ladies in on Rhodey's condition.
"The doctors say he shattered L4 through S1. Extreme laceration to the spinal cord. Probably looking at some form of paralysis."
"If it makes you feel better, Lena got the all clear after what Wanda did to her." Becca replied and got a nod from Tony.
After a moment of pause, Natasha spoke up. "Steve and AJ aren't going to stop. If you don't either, Rhodey's gonna be the best case scenario. We got lucky Yelena wasn't seriously injured as well."
"You let them go, Nat, Lena, Becca." Tony shot back.
"We played this wrong." Lena spoke.
"We?" Tony asked. "Boy, it must be hard to shake the whole double agent thing, huh? It sticks in the DNA."
"Watch your tone, Stark." Becca said getting into Tony's face.
"Look at that, Romanoff. Got your lady fighting your battles for you." Tony snarked.
"Are you incapable of letting go of your ego for one Goddamn second?" Nat retorted.
Tony looked back out the window. "T'Challa told Ross what you three did. I'm going to need that shield back, Barnes. I'll let you keep the sword, but I need the shield." He sighed and faced the three. "They're coming for all three of you."
"We're not the ones that needs to watch their back." Natasha said before the three walked off.
