Natasha, Yelena, and Clint sprinted down the watery corridor as Chitauri outriders chased after the trio. Natasha was carrying the nano-gauntlet as Clint started to toss explosive arrows that were sticking to the walls.
The three made some distance from them until they exploded, taking down several of the space dogs. Clint, Natasha, and Yelena dove away from the flames, as Natasha still held the gauntlet. They stood back up and saw the surviving Chitauri scrambling through the flames.
"Where's an RPG when you need it?" Yelena breathed out earning a look from the two before they raised their arms above their heads. They each shot a grappling hook from their wrists through the hole above them. They clipped the other side to their waists and pulled them all upward.
They they were being pulled up. Clint unsheathed his sword while Yelena took out her pistols. Clint slashed at the incoming outriders while Yelena shot at them. The three ran up opposite calls where they finally leapt through the opening. Clint killed one last space dog in midair before landing on hiss back in between the two sisters.
"Argh!" Clint screamed as he raised hir sword above his head and looked through the opening. Most of the outriders were either cut in half, shot, or burned.
"Real manly scream, Barton." Natasha breathed out as she laid there with the gauntlet.
"Yeah, super manly. Real intimidating." Yelena mocked.
Clint put down his sword and panted as he between the two.
"You're both a real pain in the ass."
Nebula appeared suddenly over the three. They were all relieved to finally see a familiar face.
"Oh, hey." Clint greeted and Natasha started to hand over the gauntlet. "We know you."
Nebula didn't reply, simply holding the gauntlet as she put her hand to her ear. She started speaking into her comms.
"Father... I have the stone."
"What?" Yelena, Natasha, and Clint's heads shot up at the statement, but Nebula stepped on Clint's chest and aimed her blaster at Yelena's face.
Natasha was frozen in fear for not only her friend, but for her sister as well.
Then, a voice echoed into and throughout the room.
"Stop."
Gamora from 2014 walked in holding her blaster up. She aimed it at the 2014 Nebula who still held the gauntlet. Nebula moved back and looked over at her sister, still aiming at Yelena.
"You're betraying us?" She asked.
Suddenly, the Nebula the Avengers knew walked in with her hands up. 2014 Nebula aimed her gun at her, giving Clint and Yelena the chance to roll away and get some distance. Natasha released a breath she didn't know she was holding and hugged her sister with tears in her eyes.
