The jet just dropped AJ off in Romania. He watched as it took off again and soared off towards Vienna and the UN conference. AJ turned on his heel and started to walk to where he believed Bucky to be.
AJ had his suit and gear with him but the girls in the jet didn't know that, all they knew was that he had a duffle bag that he brought with him to London.
While on his walk to the little town he believed Bucky to be in, he called Steve. When the Captain picked up AJ began to speak.
"Stevie, I made it to Romania." AJ began the paused for a second. "I feel kind of dumb for not thinking of checking here earlier, I completely forgot that this is where Becca and Buck were born before they moved to Brooklyn."
"AJ, calm down." Steve said calmly. "It's alright, Becca and I forgot too. I did want ask you something."
AJ raised an eyebrow then spoke into his phone. "Anything, Steve."
"Why did you decide to go check alone?"
AJ let out a sigh and thought for a moment. "I guess it's because if I found him, I didn't want to overwhelm him with all three of us and potentially scare him off. Not to mention, we still don't know if Zola's programming can be activated again."
"That's actually a lot more logical than what I thought you were going to say." Steve teased making AJ scoff then laugh.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Steve."
"Anytime, little brother." Steve said then paused. "Bring him home, Addi."
"I will." AJ replied then hung up the call and called Becca next.
"Hey Addi, everything okay?" She asked slightly concerned.
"Everything is fine. I just got off the phone with Steve and wanted to give you a call as well." AJ explained as he continued making his way.
"What did Steve have to say?" Becca asked.
"He wanted to know why I chose to come alone." AJ replied then launched into his explanation. "If I find him here, I didn't want to overwhelm him with all three of us at the same time. Not to mention, we aren't sure about Zola's programming. Steve said zi was being more logical than he anticipated."
Becca let out a loud laugh then spoke into her phone. "You know, AJ, despite being older, all of us looked up to you. Hell, we still do." Becca said then took a deep breath. "Bring our brother home, младший брат." (Little brother.)
"I will, большая сестра." (Big sister.) The two disconnected the call and AJ put his phone into his pocket and walked towards the capital.
When he got to the capital Bucharest, AJ saw a market on the streets. He saw a stand of various fruits and a man wearing gloves picking out which plum he wanted. AJ smirked to himself because he could recognize that side profile anywhere. He found him. AJ walked up to the fruit stand and started looking at a different fruit that was next to Bucky.
"Cât de mult pentru două dintre acestea?" (How much for two of these?) AJ asked in Romanian making Bucky look up and turn to the man.
