Love, Betray & Crash (Jeonghan)

"WHAT?" 

Emily heard voices from all around her going off all at once. 

She isn't sure who screamed. 

Jeonghan or Jia or the male barista. 

Yet when she turned to look at Jeonghan, she could see that his lips are slightly parted in surprise but not as if he just yelled out loud. The impact of Joo-hyuck's revelation is clear as day on his face and Jia could see the million emotions going through his face.

"WHAT. Did you just say?"

She feels Jeonghan's grip on my arm loosen as we both turn away to the source of the voice. Joo-hyuck too shifts away from Emily's direct view of line and much to her dismay, she sees Yejune standing in the doorway of the coffee shop. 

But she isn't the only standing there. 

Arin is also standing right behind Yejune, with an equally surprised face minus the anger, and so it the rest of the swimming team that came from Seoul National University, boys and girls included. Minhyun is also standing there. In fact, he is the only who in the room who seems not surprised by the new. Perhaps Joo-hyuck had already told him earlier. 

To the right of the group, Emily also spots Seungcheol and Joshua with confused faces and both Soyeon and Nana have also come forward to see the commotion. When she looks around the shop, she realizes there are much more people here that she recognizes from Sebong and her daily classes, including some of the people from the student committee. 

Dread fills her up as she realizes they have the entire shop's attention.

"What. the. fuck. did. you. just. say?" Yejune repeats herself, her voice calm yet evidently seething with anger and fury. Her fists are clasped around her sides and her shoulders are clearly tensed. Emily realizes that Yejune had directed the question at Joo-hyuck and not her. 

"Yejune..." Joo-hyuck says in a low and quiet voice, as if already tired and done with Yejune7s dramatic antics. 

"You're dating her?" Yejune demands, pointing her finger directly at Emily, "Her?"

"I-" Joo-hyuck starts but fails to form any words in his mouth, almost like if his throat dried up. 

"Answer ME!" Yejune practically screeches. 

Gosh. This woman is really unstable. She's crazy. Actually crazy. Emily think. 

"Yes," Joo-hyuck finally says, "I am. We're seeing each other."

Yejune looks like she has been slapped across the face and she looks back and forth between Emily and Joo-hyuck a few times. 

"You're seeing this wench?" Yejune practically spat

"Hey! Don't call Emily that" Soyeon steps up to defend but Yejune takes one look at Soyeon and rudely says, "Shut up!"

Soyeon turns bright red like a ripe tomato but before anyone else can get a word in, Emily says, "Don't speak to her like that." 

For the first time since she exploded, Yejune locks her eyes with mine and settles the most ugly sneer Emily has ever seen in her life. "This dwarf is your minion? Is she? No wonder she has the same bitch face like yours."

A couple of gasps go across the room, either from shock or excitement, and everyone from Sebong in the room looks offended, as if Yejune just insulted the entire University. Jeonghan looks so pissed that Emily wouldn't have been surprised if he would have gone and slapped Yejune herself, and he severely dislikes Soyeon. The only person who looked embarrassed was Arin.
