Emily and Jeonghan walk side by side, they steps matched, their shoulders around ten centimeters apart so that they have no way of touching one another.

Though secretly a part of Emily wishes their shoulders would brush against each other every now and then.  Ever since forty minuets ago, when Jeonghan had quite romantically brushed her hair out of her face, Emily just couldn't stop thinking about him.

Her mind was a picture-book, that continuously switched between the illustrated pictures of Jeonghan's hair, his hands, his eyes and most importantly, his lips.

His small mouth, the way the points of his lips turn up at his crinkled smile, his blush pink lips that parted ever so slightly when he took a breath in. That was all Emily could think about. And she knew that was all she should not be thinking.

Emily hadn't meant for Jeonghan to creep his way into her thoughts and her consciousness. But she just couldn't help it. For the past couple of days, everywhere she turns, everywhere she goes, everything she sees, just reminds her of Jeonghan.

She goes into the cafeteria, Jeonghan is sitting there with his friends.

She goes into the library? Jeonghan is chatting with the librarian.

She gets out of practice? Jeonghan is leaving his own soccer practice with his team.

Lecture? He's sitting two rows in front of her.

Student council meetings? His sitting next to her.

Coffee Shop? Jeonghan is in the line, three spots ahead.

The nurse's office? He is there receiving cough drops.

Every corner, every turn, every room Emily walks into, Jeonghan is always there. Furthermore, he looks at her each time she runs into him, giving Emily a small smile in acknowledgement. To Emily it almost feels like as if the universe wants her to constantly interact with him and her paths crossed by him.

Jeonghan has never given any indication that he thinks of Emily as even just a friend and yet Emily can't remember the last time she has felt this comfortable around someone. This is probably why he has so many girls falling for him and leaving a trail of heartbreak in the process. Jeonghan is just so handsomely charming and charismatic that Emily can't ever imagine anyone ever disliking him. She had always understood that he is popular due to his good looks, but now understands that he is also popular due to his charismatics ways.

While Seungcheol and Joshua have a line of fangirls in the teenage to young adult age demographic, Jeonghan's fangirls range from teenagers to grandmothers. He just know what to say when and to whom at the perfect moment.

It is a skill that Emily has always longed to possess at social events.

A touch of their hands accidentally brushing against each other, jolts Emily and she quickly retracts her hands back towards. Jeonghan too is surprised by the small electricity shock by the friction of their hands touching but he is more surprised to see Emily's alarmed reaction, prompting him to wonder if the latter has even touched another guy before.

That thought unknowingly puts a small mischief smile on Jeonghan's face.

"So...tell me another interesting cat about sharks?" Jeonghan breaks the silence.

Emily looks up sideways at him and says, "Sharks?"

"Yeah," Jeonghan says, "Surprise me,"

"Alright...uhm...if you flip sharks upside down, it will immobilize them for at least fifteen minutes," Emily tells, "In fact that's how orca whales hunt the sharks down. They flip them around and then eat them by eating the liver first."
