She just started to take off her clothes, but the door opened and Kayden was standing, overseeing her.

"God damn it, can't you people knock ?!"Alora said, grabbing the blanket from the bed and wrapping it around her naked body.

Kayden's eyes instantly became black, his wolf wanted his mate.

His eyes looked at the food that she didn't eat, and it could tell that he wasn't satisfied.

"Why didn't you finish your dinner?" He asked, with his deep voice.

"Why are you here?" She asked back, holding the robe tight.

His eyes went green again, but there was a strange glow in them.

"You don't have to hide yourself from me, I've already seen it all, sweetheart", he teased her, and she blushed.

She just watched while he went closer to her, and she could smell his scent of wild forest after rain.

She trembled.

He affected her in a way that she couldn't explain, not to herself and she needed to know why, because those feelings were too intense for her, she never felt them, until she met him.

"DON'T HIDE FROM ME, EVER", he slowly said, word by word, then he pulled up the blanket of her, leaving her to stand naked in front of him.

He admired her perfect tiny boy, while he lifted her chin to look him in the eyes.

She was shaking, but she wouldn't want to give him that satisfaction of feeling her fear, but he already did, just that she didn't know that.

"I'm not going to hurt you", he whispered, when he placed his lips gently on hers.

She felt that fire went through her body when they touched.

Every muscle of his body was tense, and she could feel it through his clothes.

She suddenly felt no shame or fear, just wanting that kiss to become deeper and longer, but he suddenly stopped.

He moved away from her, gulping.

She watched him, heavily breathing, and then she slapped him, hard.

His eyes went dark and his jaw clenched.

He was mad, but she didn't care.

He looked at her mockingly, and if she hadn't known how to never laugh, she would have thought that now.

"Oh, I stole your first kiss?" He asked with a hoarse voice.

"Good", he stated.

His behavior wasn't something she would tolerate.

"I want out of here, away from you!" She hissed.

"I want to go home", she finished, calmer.

"To what home?" He asked her, with a cold voice.

That man had so much power to control himself, it was amazing.

"Mine!" She said.

"You think, the house I gave to your family to live there until they return here?"

"You are not going anywhere, at least not without me", he told her.

"You are home, and if you try to leave, or run, forget that sweetie, because I'll find you even at the end of the world, and when I do, I won't be happy", he said, and she shivered again, from the coldness in his voice.

You know it's a crime in the human world", she said to him.

"You're in my world now, and I've done no crime, not here, or there", he said.

"After all, you wouldn't want to see Blake suffer because of you, or are you really that stupid, when you have already been a part of this, since your birth?" He tested her.

She didn't know what to say, she was in shock.

He was cruel.

"Eat your food, I won't tolerate it next time, and start locking your door", he said and left her like that.

She just stood there, wondering what the hell just happened between them.

It was her first kiss though, she didn't expect it, but it was more than she hoped it was, even if didn't last long.

And what's with Kayden, she wondered.

He had some serious shit to deal with because one minute he wants her, and the next he was cold like an iceberg.

Shit, she falls for his trap.

What a stupid woman she was.

It was just his wolf that wanted her around here, not him, she thought, but why his eyes were glowing when he kissed her and not black, like when his wolf was there, he wondered.

"He's one crazy bastard", she whispered to herself, before she fell asleep.

The next morning she woke up with a dark circle under her eyes because she couldn't sleep almost all night.

Surprisingly, Kayden looked almost the same, and the reason was he could feel and hear her, through the walls, which meant that he hadn't slept too.

Ella was with Jake in the kitchen, and Kayden was coming from his office.

While they were eating, Ella and Jake tried to start some conversation, but it was hard for them because neither Kayden nor Alora was in the mood for one.

She had no appetite but she decided to force herself to eat.

He won't ruin her, or break her in any way, and surely he won't do anything to her brother, she won't allow it.

"I would like to see the hospital today if that's okay with you Alpha", she said, purposely calling him Alpha, not Kayden.

She was still eating, but she didn't look him in the eyes.

"When you finish with your breakfast, Jake will take you there", he answered, also without looking at her.

"Thank you", Alora said.

"I'm a man of my word, even you think of me otherwise", he said, now looking straight into her eyes.

As if she felt he was watching her, she raised her look and met his.

There were no lies in his eyes, only honesty and she felt that.

"Now, if you all excuse me, I have a lot of work to do, so we'll meet at the dinner", Kayden said and left, while her eyes followed him, making her feel something inside her that she couldn't bear...sorrow.
