Kayden was still in his office.

He wanted to be in his room, next to the girls, but he had no strength now.

He could lose it, which would be too bad because he felt Alora everywhere.

"What are you doing here so late, I thought you went to sleep already?" Jake asked him when he came in with some papers.

"I should ask you the same thing", Kayden answered.

"You know I always bring the papers before morning, come on , man, what's bothering you?" Jake asked.

He wasn't stupid, he knew Kayden too well.

"I think I'll sleep here", Kayden said, dryly.

"Really?" Jake asked with the same tone.

"Yes", Kayden said.

"Why, I thought everything was great between you two, especially now", he said.

"It's not, Jake, and you damn know it", Kayden said, upset.

"No, I don't, Kayden, what the hell is it?" He asked, concerned.

"I want to give her some time to think through, but it's too hard because the bond is too strong", Kayden said.

"I don't know what will she decide, but whatever that be, I'll must accept it, because I want her to be happy, and I won't make the same mistake twice", he said.

"Either way, I don't want to lose her or Kaya.

Jake sighed.

"You are right, and I must say, I'm not sure if I could do that, I know how hard that must be", he said.

"But, are you sure she doesn't want you there?" He asked.

"I'm not sure, Jake, I don't know, that's the problem", Kayden said.

"Well, you won't know if you stay here forever", Jake told him.

"Talk to her, then you'll know", he said.

"She sleeps with Kaya", Kayden answered.

"That's erelevant and you know it, it doesnt mean anything", Jake protested.

"I can't think anymore, I'll take a shower then come back, you can go, I'll see you tomorrow", Kayden said before he slammed the door.

It was quiet in the room, and he could see that both of them were sleeping.

He was careful not to wake them when he went into the bathroom.

All the time he was in there, he thought of Alora, it drove him crazy.

How will he stand all this?

He had just a towel around his waist when he went out of the bathroom to get his clothes, and when he turned around, there was Alora, standing in front of him.

He was surprised because the other door was closed.

"I'm sorry if I woke you up, I'll be out in a minute, just to take fresh clothes", he said, confused.

"I wasn't sleeping", she answered.

"Where are you going so late?" She asked.

"Nowhere, to the office, I thought you would be more comfortable without me being here", he was honest.

"It's true that it's a bit weird still , but I feel safer if you are here, near us", she said.

"It's hard for me to be close to you, and not be able to feel you, or touch you", he said with his hoarse voice.
