Alora was finally at home.

It was locked, but she managed to break up, without being seen.

The things didn't change, but it seemed like someone was cleaning the house regularly, and she was wondering was Kayden had something to do with this.

He again, and she said she wouldn't think, because it could make her cry and change her mind, but it was a fact and cruel reality that would follow her to the end.

She looked around to remember everything and to forget, which would ease the pain, once, when she would make her heart not feel when she blocked all that was in her.

Her papers were there, and some memories that she had taken with her, other than that, she needed nothing more.

Alora wanted a fresh start, a new life, far away from here.

She sat in her car and drove herself to the airport.

To L.A.

She bought the ticket to there.

Alora wanted something different, and a beach seemed okay for a change.

She had no idea what or where she would be, but first, she needed a job, so she was hoping there would be no problem, considering what she was.

If not, she could do any job, just to survive.

It was tough, especially when she was entering the plane, her tears were threatening to fall all over her face.

She felt pain inside, a pain from loss and treason.

The clouds were nice, distracting her thoughts from the past life, she left behind.

But her heart felt different, it hurt, badly.

"Are you okay, dear?" She heard an unfamiliar voice beside her.

Alora turned around and saw an older woman, with grey hair and big blue eyes looking at her, with a smile.

She seemed nice, and Alora's instincts never failed.

The woman was pale a little, but she must have been tired or something.

"Not really, but I hope to be", Alora answered honestly, not knowing why.

The woman seemed honest, so she was too.

"I have a feeling you will", the woman said.

"You want to talk about it, it's a long flight to an L.A.", The woman said.

"By the way, my name is Violet", she smiled and gave the hand to Alora, which she accepted.

"Alora", she simply said.

"I'm sorry, but I don't feel like talking about anything now", she said to Violet.

"I understand, I had the same look a few years ago when my husband died", Violet said, sighing.

"I'm sorry to hear that", Alora said, without thinking.

"It's okay, we had a good life, and he was a love of mine", she said to Alora.

"I was broken and sad, then I found out I was sick too, but there was no one to tell because we had no children", Violet said.

"When I finally got through therapy and got better, when the cancer was in remission, I decided to travel a bit, just to see and feel different things and people, to not feel lonely", she finished.

"Did it help?" Alora asked, with almost a whisper.

"No, but it kept me alive, and helped me get through a day, but when the night comes, everything comes to mind and it's harder", she said.

"But, I try to remember the good, not the bad", Violet finished, with a smile.

Alora smiled a bit.

"I thought I wouldn't be able to speak, but you seemed to get to me, strangely", Alora said to Violet.

"I heard that a lot", Violet leaned on a bit, whispering, then both of them smiled.

Alora almost burst into tears.

Violet saw that on her face, and her body was shaking a bit, and that had nothing to do with a flight.

"You know, my dear, whatever is going on in your life right now, it will pass", she said.

"I'm not saying you'll forget or that it will hurt less, no, but with time, you will learn to live with that", Violet said.

Alora couldn't stand it anymore.

Her face was wet from tears in seconds.

Everything she kept inside, came to the surface.

She hugged Violet like she had known her for years, and cried on her shoulder.

The woman didn't say anything, she just hugged her back, gently.

She knew that it was something that Alora needed, without question.

This young woman carried pain inside her and she needed someone to understand, and with time, she will be ready to tell her story, without tears.

"I'll go to the house, there's nothing here that you can't do without me", Kayden said to his men.

"Jake, you're coming with me", he ordered.

First, they checked the pack house, and was everything okay, the women and children were there, with their families, and their men, who had fought that same night.

They took care of each other.

Doctor Sims was at the hospital, giving help to the worst wounded, and they checked on them too, before they headed home.

There was silence, with a light in the kitchen, where was Lisa, making some food.

"Why are you alone in there so late?" Kayden asked her.

"I'm sorry Alpha, but Luna hasn't eaten anything, and went to bed, Ella also, so I thought to make something for everybody, in case they get hungry", Lisa said.

"You must be starving too", she said, with a shy smile.

"You shouldn't do that, it's too late, you should be with your family, you just needed to check on Luna, that's all", Kayden said.

"I don't mind Alpha, and I already saw my family, they okay", Lissa said.

"I thought to check on Luna and see if she wanted to eat something, maybe she's awake, and Ella too", she said.

"Not a bad idea", Jake commented.

"I'm starving, and you are a God's gift Lisa, he said to the girl, who blushed.

"It's nothing, Beta Jake, I'm glad I can help", she said, smiling.

"I'm going to take a shower, then I'll check on Alora", Kayden said, and went upstairs.

"Good idea, I'll check on Ella, too, before I take a shower", he said, smiling.

He was so different from Kayden, that was sure.

Kayden had no peace, not knowing why, he had a strange feeling inside.

He opened the door slowly, not wanting to wake Alora if she was sleeping, and went to the bathroom, but he stopped at the door.

Something wasn't right, the window was open and it was windy outside.

He went to close it, then he saw the bed was empty.

He turned the light on, and she wasn't there.

His heart started to beat like crazy, and when he saw the closet was open, and her bag wasn't there, he went mad.
