"I'm not sure, but Ella said something at the hospital, and I wonder if she was right", Jake said.
"What?" Kaden asked.
"Well, that Dana would like to be your Luna, and that she had a hidden agenda", he said to Kayden.
"I don't know about the Luna thing, but I'm sure that her father has hidden agendas", Kayden said.
"You know damn well that she could never take Alora's place, no one can", he said.
"Especially now", his words were quiet.
"What do you mean? " Jake asked him.
"She's with my child, I smelled she had a different scent a few days ago, but I wasn't sure until the attack that she's carrying my pup", Kayden told him.
"That's why Hade went so damn crazy!" Jake said.
"Wow, man, it's awesome news, I hope I'll be a dad soon, it is something Ella and I want more than anything", He was talking with thrill.
But, Kayden's face hasn't changed.
"What is it, aren't you happy about it?" Jake asked in disbelief.
"I don't know what I feel, honestly, I ... like her, but I didn't expect a child so soon", he answered.
"You like her?!" "Damn it man, you should love her and kiss every step that she makes!" Jake went mad.
"You know, you're my best friend and my Alpha, but now, I think you're stupid and something is wrong with you!" He yelled.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Kayden asked.
"Nothing, I just hope that one day it won't be too late and that you won't be sorry", Jake told him.
"I'm never sorry for things that I decide", Kayden said.
"Let's hope that's true", Jake said quietly.
He was very disappointed with Kayden.
He thought that Alora opened his eyes, but he just stayed the same, fighting against his feelings.
What a shame.
His wolf is smarter than he is, at least he can see how much he needs his mate, it would be good that Kayden sees that as soon as possible, because things won't be good.
"Now, about the attack", Kayden changed the subject.
"Yes, I've heard everything you say with other Alphas, and I think it's a good idea that we train our fighters together", Jake said.
"Yes, we'll make an exchange so we can see their way of fighting , and they can see ours, so we all going to learn something from each other", Kayden said.
"True", Jake said.
"But it doesn't explain the Attack at Alora, or the reason", He said.
"Someone wants our pack, and they wanted to harm me, through her, or they were aimed at her with a reason", Kayden explained.
"Why would they do that, she never hurt a fly", Jake said.
"To weaken me, she's my mate and my weakness", Kayden said.
"I would say that she's your strength, much more than weakness, Alpha", Jake told him.
Kayden gave him a harsh look.
"Yeah, I understand what you mean, I have a mate too, remember, but I still think that they think with her you will be much stronger, and that's why they did this, and they are right", Jake said.
"She changes you, and you won't admit it", he finished.
"She makes me feel things", Kayden became frustrated.
"Well, mates do that my friend and that's the whole point of having them, to make you complete", Jake said.
"I don't like it, makes me weak", Kayden answered, with anger.
"At her!", Jake said loudly.
"She makes you love her, not for you to be weak, it means that you're weak at her, that you want to protect her and stuff, why the hell do I need to tell you this, wake up already!" Jake became frustrated now.
"You know, it would be much easier if you just think honestly for a second and let your feelings free, because when it comes to you, it will be too late, my friend", Jake told him.
"When it comes to love and women, you know shit", he finished.
"This conversation shouldn't be about me", Kayden said.
"True, so why do we continue to argue when there was no use?" Jake asked.
"I should be going now when I finish the paperwork, Alora needs a bath", He said.
Jake looked at him like he didn't believe what he just heard.
"Why?" He asked.
"Wha what?" Kayden asked back.
"Ella can do it, why don't you let her?" Jake asked.
"Because I don't want anyone to touch her except me", Kayden answered.
"She's my mate, mine", he said, with his deep voice.
"You know, When I listen to you, I can't believe your words", Jake said.
"Why is that?" Kayden asked him.
"Because you are totally in her, my friend, and you still can't accept it", Jake laughed and left the office, but not before he made a sound and gesture of a whip.
"Alpha, I think you should see this", doctor Sims told him, when he entered the room.
"What is it?" Kayden asked.
The doctor came to Alora and moved the bandage that was covering the wound.
There was nothing.
Like she had never been hurt, and it was a deep wound, with stitches.
"No human heals that fast, Alpha, even with that strong blood you gave her", the doctor commented.
He was stunned.
"Someone who doesn't know that she's a human would say that she's a werewolf and a strong one", he said.
"Something's happening that I can't explain", the Doctor told him.
"Luna is stronger than a werewolf, which is weird, considering that she isn't one", he said.
"Her father was, and so is her brother", Kayden told him.
"I don't understand, her vitals are great, she has no wounds on her body, and yet she still sleeping", Kayden said.
"Something's happening with her body", the Doctor told him.
"Like, what?" Kayden asked.
"I believe she's changing, and it has everything to do with the fact, that she had the werewolf blood in her before the attack", the Doctor told Kayden.
