She was running at the training ground until she felt weakness in her knees when she heard a familiar voice beside her.

"Well if I didn't know you well, sister, I would say you're a very fast werewolf", Blake smiled, looking at her all sweaty and tired.

"Ugh, I'm not in the mood Blake", she answered, breathless.

"You could join me at the training sometime, you know", he said.

"Please, I learned self-defense so that I can defend myself, thank you, brother", she smiled mockingly at him.

"Ha, funny", he said with a mocking smile, also.

"What the hell is going on there?"Alora asked, when they walked toward the house, seeing a bunch of kids fighting and yelling.

"Hey kids, what you doing?! Blake yelled, and they all ran away, except one.

it was a little boy that was left, sitting on the ground and crying, holding his torn knee.

"What happened sweety?" Alora asked the boy, who was still crying.

"They left me because I cried when I fell and hurt my knee", the boy said.

"You hurt it pretty bad, so", Blake commented.

"Blake, shush!" Alora whispered, looking reproachfully at him.

"Well, duty calls", Blake said, looking behind her, then left in a hurry, which confused Alora.

When she turned around, she saw Kayden standing there, looking confused.

"What's happened here?" He asked, and the boy turned his head, so he couldn't see him.

He was scared.

"He's hurt, now, pick him up and help me to bring him into the house, so I can fix his wound", she told him.

"Me?" He asked her, in disbelief.

"Yes, you, is there a problem?"She asked.

"Nope", Kayden sighed and picked up the boy in his arms.

The boy looking at him, still scared.

"Are you scared of me?" Kayden asked him.

His face had a questioning look.

"You are our Alpha, I mustn't cry, or behave like a girl in front of you", the boy answered.

"Who told you that?" Kayden asked.

"My mom", the boy answered.

Alora smiled.

"What's your name?" She asked him.

"Kevin, I'm 5", he answered.

"Well, Kevin, I'm sure that Alpha won't mind, considering that he probably cried also at your age", she said and looked at Kayden, questioningly.

"I guess she 's right, but you're a big boy already my friend, and crying won't help, especially when you be at the training ground", Kaden told him.

"I'll be a fighter one day?" The boy asked in awe.

"Well, I guess you stayed on the ground, so there's a fighter in you" " he told the boy, who hugged him tightly around his neck.

He was happy.

Kayden felt weird with those tiny hands that were holding onto him.

It was the first time he was holding a child, and it felt strange to him, but he also had an urge to protect and calm that little boy.
