"Have you checked what I told you?" Kayden asked Jake when he came to the office with the papers in his hands.
"Indeed, and you won't believe what I've found!"Jake was excited about what he had to say.
"Talk to me!" Kayden ordered while he was looking through the papers.
"Well, looks like the only pack that hasn't got the problems with the rogues is the Black Moon pack", Jake smiled, like he had discovered America again.
"Just as I thought it would be," Kayden said, thinking.
"Seems that you know something that I don't, is that a reason you sent me to confirm your doubts? Jake asked.
"Yes, true", Kayden answered.
"I never trusted him, not then, not now, and I doubted that he's in some pact with rogues", Kayden said, while he was carefully reading the papers which Jake gave him.
"Every Alpha that I have here on the list got his history, except Sirus", Kayden said.
"What do you mean? Jake asked.
"His father wasn't an Alpha, he got no family before he became one, did you know that?" Kayden asked.
"That means....", Jake looked at Kayden.
"He needed to kill the former Alpha of his pack to become one, or something much worse, which I can't even think about", Kayden said, coldly.
"He could be a rogue himself", Jake said.
"That is a more correct conclusion, considering that he got no attacks of them", he said.
"Also, he's still the one, no matter the title and status, which could explain the situation with Alora's attack", Kayden finished, with a cough.
It was hard for him to talk about her.
He was doing everything to find her, and he couldn't even imagine that wouldn't happen.
He didn't show his emotion and how were his nights and days without her, but it was hard, that's for sure.
He missed her and he was worried, not being able to imagine that some filthy rogue had her, not to mention that Sirus had something to do with that, together with his rotten daughter.
Which reminded him, that he needed to change his approach to her.
He needed to be smart, now more than ever.
Dana was a cruel, spoiled creature who got all she wanted every time, and she didn't choose how.
For her, it was simple because she knew how to manipulate, but the one thing she forgot, was that with him he couldn't do that.
That was the thing.
He needed to do her the same thing that she thought of doing to him.
To manipulate her to find out where Alora is, because now he was almost sure that she's got something to do with her kidnapping.
He knew that she wanted power.
Kayden was powerful and she couldn't deny that.
That's why she looked for him after all those years, to gain him and everything that he built in the hard way.
What a stupid bitch, he thought.
She thought that he would fall for her lies, and leave the woman like Alora that he had beside him.
Never.
Now, when he finds out what true love is, and how much he loved her, he will find her and their baby, and protect them forever.
He will show her how good a man he can be to her, every day, for the rest of their lives.
But, how will he hold on without her?
Every second is torture, every minute is an hour, and hours are days without her.
He missed her.
Like crazy, he missed her.
Her lips, her tiny, perfect body in his hands, her smile, and shiny green eyes that looked at him with love.
She was his destined mate, and he was happy about that, even though she was a human, it didn't matter.
Nothing was important now, except her being beside him again, as soon as possible.
He will find her, he'll kill everyone who stands in his way.
He will never allow that to happen again, that is sure.
He made a mistake now, but it will never be the thing again.
Never.
"So, what will you do about it?" Jake asked Kayden.
"Report him to the council or do it on your own way?" He was curious.
"Both", Kayden answered.
"It will be my way first, but the other Alphas will find out about that, I'll make sure of it" " he said with his jaw clenched.
He was angry.
"That's why I need to wait for Sirus to pay me a visit again, which I believe won't last long, because if I'm right, he already got a plan in his sick mind", he told Jake.
"I'll need your and Ella's cooperation, because there can't be no mistakes", Kayden told Jake.
"What have you in mind?" Jake asked.
"If I'm right, and I have no doubt about it, Dana had her fingers in all this, because if you remember, that all started at the party, well, when she appeared again, to say more precise ", Kayden said.
"I'll be damn", Jake said in disbelief.
"She wants you back", he said to Kayden.
"That filthy...ugh, I'll be sick", Jake had a sick face.
"You will not fall for her lies, damn it!" He yelled.
"Calm down, my friend, it won't happen ever, but I will need to act like I have, and that's why I need your and Ella's help, to pretend like you both agreed with me", Kayden explained.
"I see, now I feel a bit better", Jake said.
"But, I can't promise about Ella, she's a real stubborn, when it comes to Alora, she hasn't stopped crying since she's gone", he said calmer.
"I understand their bond Jake, but she needs to pretend if we want to find out where Alora is", Kayden said.
"They both need to be punished for what they did to my mate", Kayden hissed.
"If that's the case, my friend, I assure you that Ella will agree to all", Jake said.
